The announcement/launch date of the HTC Trophy arriving on Verizon has been talked about many times but yet we’re still to see the device on sale at Big Red. But all that might change very soon. Word has been going around stating that Verizon employees have started receiving Windows Phone 7 training to learn about the operating system in order to deal with customers.
Here’s what a tweet that was sent over to the folks over at wpcentral recently said: “@wpcentral Roomate works at Verizon, just txt me saying he has a 1 hour training today for WP7!” The folks over at wpcentral have also speculated a May 12 launch date which seems just about right. Training this week, official announcement next week, and the phone on sale the following week. Windows Phone 7 fans on Big Red ? keep those fingers crossed.
