Autumn has officially arrived here, with today marking the beginning of the six months that I hate getting out of bed in the morning. Yay! Still, The Internet pays no mind to such things. It's been buzzing away over the weekend, and here's what you missed.

Tamagotchi Now Comes In Color

Tamagotchi Now Comes In Color

The Tamagotchi craze was certainly out of this world in the 1990s, and this time round the electronic pet toy is making a comeback, dropping its black-and-white color scheme for a new color LCD display with updated digital content to keep up with the times. Known as Tamagotchi Plus Color, this new toy is tipped for a November 23 release - it will be interesting whether a dozen years onwards, this new release is able to move 75 million Tamagotchi Plus Colors - that's the number to beat anyway when compared to its predecessor's track record. With color featured, the 1.52" LCD display lets your Tamagotchi get dirty, reflected via its color while changes in weather is also another interesting point to note. You can choose from white, black, pink, magenta, orange, green and blue colors, and the Tamagotchi Plus Color will retail for approximately $48 when available. You getting one?

Asus Eee PC 901A Now In Azure Blue

Asus Eee PC 901A Now In Azure Blue

The Asus Eee PC 900 range comes in many variants, but most of the time these are coated in rather boring shades. This is not the case with the upcoming Eee PC 901A as it comes in Azure Blue, looking somewhat similar to the Acer Aspire One (I wonder why). Other than the external color change, everything else inside is the same, including the Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor.

Apple To Make iTunes More Accessible To The Blind

Apple To Make iTunes More Accessible To The Blind

Apple will be working to make its iTunes service more accessible to the blind after reaching an agreement with the Massachusetts attorney general's office and the National Federation of the Blind. Known as iTunes U, this portion of the iTunes Store will feature educational content provided by colleges and universities to the blind from December 31st onwards, and this is just the beginning as Apple will also continue working on providing full accessibility of the iTunes application and the remainder of the iTunes Store before the June 30, 2009 deadline. In addition, Apple will be loosening up its purse strings by donating $250,000 to the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind. Nice to see Apple paying closer attention to users from all walks of life.
