Toy Story 4 in the works

Toy Story

Great news for fans of Toy Story. If you were disappointed that the last movie had to end and you thought that the magical journey was over ? there might be a new movie in the works. Voice actor for Woody, Tom Hanks, was quoted as saying to the BBC: “I think there will be, yeah. Yeah, yeah, think they’re working on it now. There you go.”

While the actor’s statement is by no means an official confirmation of the sequel really happening, we wonder if the fourth movie is necessary at all. The series tied up everything pretty well with the third installment, and there’s really no need for a sequel. However, it would be nice to see those wonderful and lively characters on screen again. What do you think of a fourth Toy Story movie? Would you be up for it?

Arcam rCube wireless docking station plays music
from your Apple devices

Arcam rCube The folks over at American Audio and Video have just announced that the rCube portable high-end iPod/iPhone/iPad sound system from Arcam is now on sale at select Magnolia Audio Video outlets in the country. The SVI Trade winner for “best iPod dock”, the rCube is one sweet looking device. In addition to looking good, the device performs as well, delivering hi-fidelity sound that are streaming from Apple devices and computers.

What makes the rCube special is its ability to stream music to up to four other iCubes in the vicinity. With a bunch of cubes, users can easily set up music to play in oddly shaped rooms without having to deal with any wires. It has up to 8 hours of battery life, and inbuilt handles to make it a truly portable device. No word on what the rCube will be priced, but since it costs £499 ($797) in the UK, it’s probably not going to be too cheap here. Call of Duty: Black Ops the U.K.s best selling
video game of all time

After dominating North America and Europe, Call of Duty: Black Ops finally takes the crown home in the U.K. for the best selling video game of all time, defeating its closest rival Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Is Activision’s first-person shooter franchise unstoppable?

With a new “Annihilation” DLC map pack available on the Xbox 360 today, the game certainly doesn’t look like it’s running out of steam nearly a year later. In fact, with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 coming out this November 8, the Call of Duty franchise looks to be in a favorable position to remain at the top of the charts.

That doesn’t mean rivals aren’t trying to knock Call of Duty: Black Ops off it’s high perch. EA’s Battlefield 3 will arrive later this year as well and from the demos and videos we’ve seen, it might offer a grittier game with tighter controls than Call of Duty.

Proof the Xbox 360 is the place to play games
online

According to the NPD Group’s newest data (numerical data isn’t available for the public), the Xbox 360 sells twice as many online-enabled games than on the PlayStation 3 and seven times more on the Wii in 2010.

The love for the Xbox 360 doesn’t end there. Digital point cards sold for purchasing digital downloads was also four times more on the Microsoft game console than on Sony’s PS3.

What’s the takeaway from this data? Well, for one thing gamers don’t mind paying $60 a year for a subscription to Xbox Live versus the free PlayStation Network. The second thing is, Xbox 360 owners are more likely to purchase digital goods and downloadable content, as they spend more on point cards.

Ten years ago, Microsoft made a gamble on the importance of online gaming on consoles and it looks like its finally reaping the benefits of including a broadband ethernet as standard to its original Xbox.
