The Fuji Finepix Z3 is a 5.1 megapixel digital compact camera that comes with a 3x optical zoom and the ability to record video at a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 at 30fps. There is no viewfinder, but the 2.5" scratch-resistant LCD display more than makes up for it. The inclusion of picture stabilization technology makes things easier for the beginner. Like so many products these days, the Fuji Finepix Z3 comes in pink, in addition to the more manly colors of silver and purple. It can be pre-ordered on Amazon for $249.95 from next month onwards.

Lindy Electronics has launched its latest 4-port USB 2.0 hub, which coincidentally is also its smallest to date. It measures just 4cm across, making it the ideal traveling companion. It is roughly bigger than of a book of matches, and is equipped with an 80cm cable. One can only wonder how they crammed in all the circuitry for four high-speed USB 2.0 ports. Just make sure that your devices do not come with really fat devices lest you lose the adjacent port due to space constraints. There are two USB 2.0 ports on one end, while another two are located on the opposite end. This USB 2.0 hub offers a maximum power consumption of up to 500mA and retails for £8.99.

It's nice to have a man about the house, but in this case, even nicer to have one about the car, especially since he fits right in the glove box. The Inflatable Buddy on Demand blows up at the flick of a switch if you're alone at night and really need a fella by your side - in the car, of course. The idea is to provide the silhouette of a couple instead of a single woman. (Doubtless he'd also prove beneficial in the car pool lane.)
