Netgear has made its 200Mbit/s Powerline HD Ethernet Adapter (HDX101) and Kit (HDXB101) available, enabling consumers to connect to a PC, digital video recorder, game console, or compatible Ethernet-ready devices over the home network via any AC electrical outlet. The entire home can now have high-speed broadband without the hassle of cables in every room. The Powerline HD Ethernet Adapter comes with built-in Video Quality of Service (VQoS) for consistency in performance and encrypted security. Waterproof fingerprint scanner

One can only wonder what you can do with a waterproof fingerprint reader. It would most probably be useful for outdoor use come rain or shine. The demonstration unit shows a constant stream of water running over the fingerprint scanner to prove a point. Just place your finger on the fingerprint scanner and authenticate your entry into the swimming pool during the hot and sweltering summer days. This waterproof fingerprint scanner measures 38mm x 81mm x 40mm and weighs 106 grams. It can be used on either Windows 2000 or XP systems and costs approximately 137 Euros.
