Amidst all the bad news surrounding the iPhone 4 and its antennagate issue, there is some good news, as Apple has announced that the iPhone 4 will be launching in 17 more countries this Friday, which will include: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. Surprisingly, the list of countries doesn't include South Korea, which was previously slated to receive the phone about the same time, though an explanation wasn't provided for the country's omission. Local pricing for the iPhone 4 will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, you can check out our in-depth iPhone 4 review to help you decide whether you should get it when it's launched in your country.

We've previously seen a leaf-shaped solar panel, one that doesn't look so out of place when installed into our garden, and to take the concept one step further, the company has followed up the idea by coming up with the world's first solar-powered "energy apple tree", which uses the previously-mentioned leaf-shaped panels to harness solar energy. The idea behind this concept is to seamlessly integrate solar power into our surroundings, and this design calls for an apple-shaped battery which can be recharged by the solar leaves. To make it look even cooler, the apples will glow while getting charged, and can also change colors from green to red, indicating whether they're ripe (ready to be used). Sounds like an apple tree that we wouldn't mind having in our back yard.

It's not always easy to tell the time for folks who are visually impaired, but if the OOSH concept watch ever becomes a reality, things will get much easier. The OOSH is really a Braille watch that allows the user to tell the time by touching the face of the watch, so the lack of sight won't become an issue. If for some reason the user is unable to read Braille, a voice notification system can also be activated in order to have the time read out to them. It's a pretty simple concept, but one that could be incredibly useful if turned into a reality.
