tr.im is an established URL shortening service that prepares great-looking short URLs for services like Twitter. If you send URLs out on Twitter, tr.im is not only the best name, it is one of the shortest.tr.im constantly collects and can then present cool graphical statistics on your URLs, such as how many times they were visited, from which locations, and referred by which websites.

Now we can compress large files into smaller ones. KGB ARCHIVER, an open source compression tool like 7zip and UHARC with an unbelievably high compression rate. Unfortunately, in spite of its powerful compression rate, it has high hardware requirements (I recommend processor with 1,5GHz clock and 256MB of RAM as at least minimum).

One of the advantages of KGB Archiver is also AES-256 encryption which is used to encrypt the archives. This is one of the strongest encryptions known.

Google Takeover Moves to TV- What's Next

Google is already the king of Internet advertising. Over the past few years they've turned it into a multi-billion dollar industry, which they control most of. Google also controls 80% of online search, and large percentages of things like maps, mobile apps, browsers, and (soon) operating systems. But apparently, the world of computers isn't enough for the Internet giant. Now they're setting their sights on television with Google AdWords TV.
AdWords TV works just like regular AdWords, except on your TV. (let that blow your mind) The user creates their own video advertisement which they then upload through the AdWords website. Google uses their secret formula to find the best channels and time slots to advertise your product, just like on the Internet.
If this works, who knows what Google will take over next. Magazine ads, billboards, ESP. Who knows? But the ad agencies better watch their backs and learn to sleep with their eyes open.
