Ferrari will be launching its first ever gasoline-electric hybrid system in 2013. The said technology will be used and featured on the next Enzo successor. First announced in 2002, the Enzo is a gasoline-powered gorgeous cat that features a mid-engine V12 that is more than capable of running 60 miles per hour in just over 3.14 second. Top speeds can reach up to 221 miles per hour.
The Enzo is also reputed for its F1 technology that uses electrohydraulic shift transmission and carbon-fiber body. Ferrari will use its own “HY-KERS” hybrid that can slash fuel consumption by as much as 40% while minimizing the time it takes to accelerate from 0 – 200 kilometers per hour in just 3 seconds, contrary to a Ferrari that doesn’t have it. Nope, it’s not a cyborg robot. But yes, that’s Sebastian Thrun – Google’s Project X founder and former director of the Stanford Artificial Intelligence Laboratory. Google has officially branded its super-cool Google Glasses as Project Glass. If Sergey Brin showed up wearing the glasses in a charity event a few weeks ago, the Google X founder went even further by wearing it while being interviewed by Charlie Rose. You can check out the full interview here. (more…)

We’ve already conducted a benchmark test on Intel’s Medfield processor in early January this year. So far, based on the AnTuTu (system benchmark) and SunSpider (Javascript execution) tests, the processor’s overall performance was quite good, compared to other devices including the Galaxy Nexus LTE and the Galaxy Tab 8.9.
Since we’ve already tested the chip, we’ve been dying to test it working on an actual device such as the Lovo Xolo X900 – an exotic-looking smartphone that was recently launched in India. The folks over at AnandTech conducted their own benchmarks and boy, the result confirms our initial tests. (more…)

Adding to the Samsung Galaxy S3 frenzy is another rumor about the smartphone’s notable specs, apparently taken from AnTuTu’s benchmark database. As previously reported, it seems that the CPU is point blank. We’re staring at the Exynos SoC clocking at 1.4 GHz, although we are also hearing rumors that the Exynos could be a dual-core. (more…)
