Add to myYahoo!I’m not going to lie. I’ve never really cared for the SOCOM U.S. Navy Seals series before. It’s always been one of those game franchises that everybody loves, but always escaped me – just a game I’ve tinkered with a few times before when it first graced the PS2.
SOCOM 4 is the supposedly the first proper game in the series to make the jump to the PlayStation 3. The last SOCOM PS3 game, SOCOM: Confrontation was allegedly laden with so many bugs, that it was outright unplayable. Confrontation came out in 2008. With new developers Zipper Interactive, does SOCOM 4, the latest in the third-person tactical shooter series come out on top? And what about playing with those funky PlayStation Move + Sharp Shooter controls? Does it add value? You’ll have to hit the break to find out.

Add to myYahoo! We've seen little innovation in laptop design in the last few years. Most companies seem to think that using a brushed aluminum finish or adding Intel's latest mobile CPU is all they need to do to freshen a product line. Still, Acer's not the first company to introduce a laptop with dual screens; the short-lived Toshiba Libretto W100 comes to mind, and gScreen Corporation's Spacebook has been touted since 2009, although it's still not available at the time of this writing. The Acer Iconia 6120, though, is a computer you can buy right now. Its dual screens offer new capabilities but come with some drawbacks as well. Benchmark Reviews takes a look at this unique laptop to see if it's worth your consideration.

Back in 2007, to celebrate its 30th anniversary of being in the embedded business, Intel built a custom chopper that was just loaded with all the latest tech, and one hell of an engine. While it was so loaded with gadgets and high-end equipment, it wasn’t very rider friendly and never saw life on the road. The chopper travelled from road show to road show, usually serving as a photo prop, but it was never ridden around or taken for a ride on the track.

Nintendo’s Wii is a strange little console. On the one hand the console single-handedly beat the Xbox 360 and PS3 in terms of install base with over 80 million systems sold. On the other hand it had no chance in staying relevant up against its rivals once they too received their own motion-based controllers.
Without HD graphics, a hard drive and a solid online gaming platform, Nintendo was pretty much forced into a corner to prepare a Wii 2 to stave off declining Wii sales.
So, you can view the Wii as a console that totally revolutionized this generation with its unique controller and you can also call it a waning fad that’s slowly becoming outdated due to obsolete technology that is an entire generation behind Sony and Microsoft’s consoles.
Nintendo regrets not having more third-party support for Wii, won’t repeat for Wii 2, By Ubergizmo. Top Stories : Droid X Review, Google TV Review,

Last week we reported that Apple’s cloud music service was rumored to be nearing completion and this week, more details about the service have started surfacing. Rumors are now saying that Apple’s music service will probably start free of charge and then cost users a fee after awhile. How much Apple will be charging is unknown for now, but the service is apparently completed and almost good to go. According to rumors, Apple has also managed to reach an agreement with two out of the four major labels and have two more to negotiate with.
Apparently, Apple’s service is going to be similar to what Amazon is offering with their digital music locker ? users will be able to upload songs and other content that they’ve bought from iTunes to their personal cloud storage, and just stream content from there onto their iOS devices. As usual, with all rumors, take them with a pinch of salt. Though unlikely, there could be a possibility that Apple’s music service could be in a rut like Google’s allegedly music service is as well ? we can’t say for sure. But stay tuned for more future developments.
