DVD Jon makes any MP3 Player Look like an iPod to
Apple iTunes

DVD Jon (aka Jon Johansen) is big in the news these days with his hack of Apple's FairPlay DRM on iTunes songs. The guys at Slashdot bash the whole media attention with basically saying that you can store any iTunes song on a CD and then rip it back...

SONY is bad for you

Hey, come on SONY. First of all they pulled the European launch of the PS3 together with idiotic statements like Europeans really don’t mind waiting for SONY products (yeah, right - puh-leaze!!), and now they have forced Lik-Sang.com (world’s largest grey market supplier of gaming products) to shut down. SONY - that’s nothing but [...]

Magnagrip Tool Wristband - never lose a nail
again (the other type of nail!)

Magnagrip.JPGDropping nails, screws and tools when you're in the midst of a job is a pain and can bring the project to a yawning halt whilst you go in search of more. Practical types keep their things in tool boxes but gadgety types wear a magnagrip wristband. As you can possibly guess from it's name, it's magnetic and although lightweight, apparently strong enough to hold a hammer (how do you lose that?) They also say it expands to fit all sizes and I hope that means it's small enough to fit narrower wrists too - $15.95

The extremely malleable Bendiboard

The extremely malleable Bendiboard

Here's a keyboard that will put your eyes out of commission faster than sitting in front of a fat, chunky CRT monitor and staring at it for 10 hours straight. The pink-colored Bendiboard is extremely malleable, making it perfect for those who love snacking away at their desk. You no longer need to vacuum between the keys, as there are no deep grooves and crevices as found in traditional keyboards. Maintenance is pretty simple - all you've got to do is to take a piece of cloth and wipe the Bendiboard clean. You can invest in one today for £25, although we're not quite sure how touch typists will react to this one.One thing's for sure - it is great for frequent travelers as they can virtually roll it up and bring it just about anywhere.

Limited edition Ricoh GR digital camera

Limited edition Ricoh GR digital cameraThe Ricoh GR Digital is already a year old, and Ricoh decided to release a limited edition of the Ricoh GR Digital 1st Anniversary Commemorative Model as a gesture of appreciation to Ricoh's customers. This release also coincides with the 10th anniversary of the GR series of film camera's debut. Famous Japanese illustrator Katsuya Terada was appointed to design the Commemorative Model, and he seemed to have done a pretty good job, adorning the camera with a blue sky and clouds along with a couple of angels. This 8.13 megapixel camera comes in a magnesium-alloy case and offers a great degree of operatibility and flexibility for those who love tweaking around with the manual controls.

We talked about the Vodafone V1210 (which is also known as the Vodafone VPA IV) a couple of days ago, and it seems that this handset is already obsolete after its successor, the new and improved Graphite smartphone was approved by the FCC. This smartphone will be known as the O2 Graphite and is powered by the Intel PXA270 416MHz processor which is aided by 128MB ROM and 64MB RAM. Other features include 3G connectivity, dual cameras, Bluetooth 2.0 support, and an Intel Hermon modem. You can expect to see the Windows-based O2 Graphite hit store shelves soon.

Visual Remote works with all iPods

Visual Remote works with all iPods
Little known Advanced Technetix has launched a brand new peripheral for iPod users that is not a dock, a waterproof case, a pair of headphones, or a speaker system. Instead, what they have to offer is the Visual Remote. Details concerning this product is extremely scant, but we do know that it is compatible with all iPods and does not require any extra batteries. The backlit LCD display comes in handy when you want to control your iPod in the dark. Despite the fact that the Visual Remote is not out in the market yet, Advanced Technetix is already working on a wireless version.
