Motorola's W755 will be made available on Verizon, but it won't be the Messiah handset that will pull Motorola out of its current doldrums. After all, a 1.3 megapixel camera, speakerphone capability and stereo Bluetooth connectivity isn't exactly groundbreaking and are more of entry-level requirements. Available in titanium and grey, the W755 features a rather funky looking keyboard and will find a few fans, but otherwise Motorola had best design something better and badder to return to its lofty heights of yore.

LG's third model in its Black Label series, the LG Secret, has just been announced today. The LG Secret holds the honor of being the slimmest 5 megapixel cell phone in the market, boasting a chassis made out of carbon fibre and tempered glass that offers durability without compromising on its sleek design. Will this 3G handset be able to stave off the 3G iPhone's onslaught later this summer? I personally don't think so - after all, Apple has done a phenomenal job with its 3G-less iPhone, so to have an iPhone that does 3G will just blow the competition away, unless Apple decides to over-price its product. I would wait and see how things pan out before taking a stand - after all, we aren't exactly living in the best of times at the moment so it pays to make an informed purchase decision.

Everything's going wireless these days, and it makes perfect sense for a scenting solution to take a similar path. The Arologic from Air Aroma prides itself in being the first wireless scenting contraption in the world, although I think the skunk beat it ought by a few thousand years. Owners will be able to use the Arologic to control a network of scent diffusers remotely, introducing various scent zones into the home for different people. There is no word on pricing, but the Arologic solution ought to be ready by the time Q3 rolls around. No prizes for guessing which gender prefers a flowery perfume lingering in their room.

iRiver looks set to introduce some class into its new players - the E150 and E200, doing away with its traditional plastic chassis. The E100's unimpressive LCD screen will also be upgraded to a much brighter version in the new model, and the two mini speakers on the E100's behind will be dropped. I suppose that is good for the general peace in a train, but teenagers who want to let the whole world know what they're listening to will have to get a pair of external speakers instead. The E150/E200 will be out sometime this summer, but there is no exact word on pricing and availability as at press time.

Here are some more images of the upcoming Nokia E71 QWERTY business smartphone - it comes with a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus capability, but other than that there isn't much else known about it. Unfortunately, the design is way too bland to make it a swanky business phone, so only those with stoic looking faces will do well carrying one of these. Where's all the fun gone to, Nokia?

The Seat Instrument dive computer was recently launched by Danish watch designers Linde Werdelin, clipping onto the Biformeter watc and providing you with all the necessary information whenever you go diving. It will come in two versions - steel and gold, where the former is $3,000 while the latter is way out of reach at $46,000. Both versions are useless if you do not fork out $5,000 for the Biformeter in the first place. Other features include :-
