A week ago we reported that alleged photos of Nokia?s upcoming Windows Phone 8 handset, Phi, were leaked. While it remains to be seen as to whether those photos are indeed legitimate, famed Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin who seems to have the privilege of getting his hands on Nokia devices before anyone else, has spoken with Russian website Obozrevatel and basically ?confirmed? the Nokia Phi?s specs. We say ?confirm? because even though Murtazin has a reputation for getting it right, there?s always the off-chance that Nokia could surprise us.
In any case for those curious, the Nokia Phi is expected to sport a massive 4.7? display, a microSD card slot and is reportedly thinner than both the Lumia 800 and Lumia 900. He also stated that despite the battery of the Phi being larger than the Lumia 800 and 900, oddly enough it did not last as long. There is a good chance that might have something to do with software as we?re sure Nokia and Microsoft are currently tweaking Windows Phone 8 as best as they can before its release. Murtazin also expects the Phi to be priced in Russia for $935 and that we will see it officially announced on the 5th of September.

If you?re too lazy to walk, or perhaps want to get around in style, this concept CT-S electric scooter might be of interest to you. Designed by Goldberg Boris, the CT-S electric scooter was apparently inspired by Lexus?s innovative L-FINESSE, sporting pretty sleek curves and a very minimalist and clean design. According to its designer, the device will be made from aerospace lightweight carbon fiber and will be powered by lithium ion batteries. Since it is merely a concept, we have no idea how long the scooter will be able to run for before requiring a recharge, but its designer has stated that the batteries will be ?long lasting.? As far as charging goes, it can be charged by placing it in the trunk of your vehicle using a standard 12v socket, and has been designed to be used as the ?last mile journey to the office.? Talk about convenient, you may very well be the envy of your colleagues! So, who wouldn?t mind seeing this CT-S electric scooter become a reality?

Add to myYahoo!Assuming the leaked images are to be believed, we can expect the next-gen iPhone to sport a two-toned back plate, with the top and bottom portions in black/white, while the middle portion will be off a slightly lighter color. While the design of Apple?s new iPhone has yet to be confirmed, iPhone 4/4S owners will be able to turn their device into lookalikes thanks to this iPhone 5 conversion mod kit. It will not give you the rumored 3.95?/4? display, but the back does resemble the leaked images we?ve seen so far. It will set you back $30 and according to the seller, the materials used for the camera lens is apparently the same as the original iPhone back plate and uses ?glass-like acrylic? and aluminum. You will be able to pick one up for yourself here, but if you?d like to see a video of the conversion kit in action, check it out in the video above.

LG’s reply to the Samsung Galaxy Note when it came to the phablet market was in the form of the LG Optimus Vu, offering all 5″ of viewing goodness to boot. Well, we do know that the LG Optimus Vu is making its way to the circles of Verizon Wireless, and there are some anonymous tipsters who have spoken to the folks over at Droid-Life, (hence the watermark in the images above) touting that Verizon will rename the LG Optimus Vu by calling it the ?4G LTE Intuition by LG?. Seriously, does a piece of hardware like a phablet need such an obnoxiously long name? You could have just called it the LG Intuition without the 4G LTE suffix, and the world would have moved on nicely (and I would have had to type less words). It seems that the LG Intuition will retail for $199.99 on contract, but if you want to pick it up sans contract, then it will cost you $549.99 a pop. Those rocking to Verizon can look forward to a phablet from LG in due time.

For those of you who grew up in the late 1980s and early 1990s will most probably have fond memories of the Nintendo Game Boy which took a quartet of AA batteries to power its dot matrix display, while those who preferred a color portable handheld console had the battery guzzling Sega Game Gear which ultimately lost out to the Game Boy. Well, other crazes from that era would be Ghostbusters and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in addition to slap bracelets – stainless steel spring bands that enabled you to wrap around a wrist with but a simple slap. Well, Ritmo Mundo has turned back the clock, or at least, they hoped to, with the slap bracelet inspired timepiece known as the Reflex watch.
It will tell the time using a couple of LED lines, where the column lined up on the left will show the current hour in addition to whether it is AM or PM, while the right column depicts the minutes which will require some simple math calculation. You can travel back in time with the $150 Reflext watch, which is cheaper than purchasing a DeLorean.
