Taken with Canon Rebel T1i (aka 500D or Kiss X3) and roughly edited in Apple imovie. Problem is that manual exposure is not supported in the video mode by the current T1i firmware. 5D Mark II now supports this by the latest update. Now the 5D is light years ahead of T1i in terms of [...]

We caught glimpses of this phone before, and now the Motorola i1 has gone official, and Sprint should be quite happy being able to offer the world’s first Push-to-Talk Android-powered smartphone. The Motorola i1 will be available in the summer, and will require an Everything Data plan in order to purchase and activate this phone. Features of the Motorola i1 include:

BlueAnt looks like it’s serious about making itself stand out from the competition, and the announcement of its upcoming BlueAnt Q1 Android application should be a good way to do so. The app will communicate with the existing BlueAnt Q1 Bluetooth headset, allowing users to listen to their text messages read aloud. So when you receive a text message, the Q1 headset will notify you that a message has been received, after which it will read the sender’s phone number, followed by the full text message using a text-to-speech engine. The app will require Android 2.0 or above, so make sure your phone is running the latest Android version in order to take advantage of this.

Dropbox is one insanely handy app for the road warrior, as it allows you to sync your files across multiple computers, and access your files on your mobile device. The bad news is that there isn’t a Dropbox app for Android devices, but the good news is that such an app is in development, and screenshots of Dropbox running on an Android-powered Motorola Droid have surfaced. Features of the Android Dropbox app include:

Add to myYahoo! The Motorola i1 will be the first mobile phone with Google's Android operating system, on a push-to-talk (i.e., no contract required) device. To be offered by Sprint, the i1 is monumental in redefining not only Android but also the the push-to-talk mark...

BlueAnt has unveiled a rather interesting Bluetooth headset at CTIA today, the T1, which is the company’s first toughened Bluetooth headset. The T1 sports silicone protectors which should do an adequate job protecting the headset from minor shocks, not to mention its sealed design that reduces the effects of dust and humidity. The T1 also sports BlueAnt’s Wind Armour technology which promises to offer a unique level of noise cancellation. For $80, you’ll get this Bluetooth headset which sports six-hours of talk time, the ability to pair with two devices simultaneously, as well as the features mentioned earlier. The BlueAnt T1 should be shipping in May, so if you haven’t decided to buy a Bluetooth headset yet, this might be a good time to consider getting one.
