Vuzix iWear AV920-C Daisy Chained

Vuzix iWear AV920-C Daisy Chained

The Vuzix iWear AV920-C is one interesting video headset, capable of receiving video from just about any device with a composite video output, displaying it beautifully on the internal 640 x 480 LCD display. This is the equivalent of enjoying a 62" display from as near as 9 feet away. Just in case watching video from up close and personal is not enough for you, you can even connect up to 4 such headsets in a daisy chain to a single console, bringing a new level of immersion to FPS gamers. At long last, you can no longer peek at your opponent's screen during a 4-way fragfest where your 42" LCD TV doesn't look so big suddenly. If only they had this back in the days of Mario Kart on the SNES.

MEDIVista Info System

MEDIVista Info System

Being sick is no fun, especially for the bedridden who have to endure (annoying) visiting friends and relatives of their own or their room-mates. The TV shows are constantly on repeat, and your DS Lite has just run out of battery. What are you supposed to do then? The MEDIVista Info System from Lincor Solutions could help, featuring a touch screen LCD display that can be used by doctors, nurses and the patients themselves, depending on which program or application is being accessed currently. Guess this means once your doctor is done viewing your x-ray on the MEDIVista Info System, you can then get back to chatting with your buddies via IM and checking your email. I wonder how much will it take to get a review unit - must somebody club me in my kneecaps?

Wizkid Robot From Europe

Wizkid Robot From Europe

Looks like Europe is also pretty advanced in the field of robotics, with the Wizkid robot being on parade at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. This project claims to offer 'social skills and physical presence by introducing the simplicity of everyday interactions in the world of computers.' The learning curve is virtually non-existent, as the Wizkid will be able to understand you almost immediately. There is an "interactive halo" that follows the user everywhere, ensuring that the Wizkid's tools are never too far away from being inaccessible. I wonder when will store fronts start employing robots such as these when greeting and helping hapless humans out. Probably a long time more in coming, I reckon.

Wall-E GameCube Mod

Wall-E GameCube Mod

Isn't this the cutest GameCube mod you've ever laid your eyes on? Based on a character from Disney Pixar's upcoming film, the Wall-E GameCube mod is made out of children's toys Plexiglas, tubes, rods, plastic, metal and acrylic paint. I wonder how many hours it took to create this masterpiece. How many other mods do you think the GameCube is suitable for?
