Cocktail Cyclone Portable Drink Mixer

Why am I not thinking up this stuff?! Yes, that’s the jealousy talking, the jealousy over someone else inventing this cool product. It’s a cocktail mixer that generates a mini cyclone inside the mixer to mix the perfect drink. I did laugh at Gizmodo’s observation that it only gets more exciting the more drinks you [...]

Nintendo Wii

Over a year since its release, the Wii is still the most sought after gadget going. Its heady mix of affordable pricing, awesome games and that controller mean the world's still going Wii nuts.

And if you've got one waiting under the tree this year, then you're in for a treat. There's a slew of new titles and peripherals to get to grips with, guaranteeing you'll spend at least the next six months leaping about your front room while passers by shoot disgusted (read jealous) glances through your front window.

Definitely on its way is Wii Fit. The balance board will be as huge as Wii Sports, with bonkers games including Ski Jumping and heading footballs. Expect skateboarding games to take advantage of the board's sensitive stylings any time soon.

Mario Kart for Wii looks as good as it sounds, offering tons of new tracks, mini-games and a massive 12-player online mode.

And then there's Ghostbusters. Use the Wiimote as a proton pack, save New York and sing the theme tune. Nice touch, we reckon.
