Live Shot of Palm Treo 850

Live Shot of Palm Treo 850

Here's yet another peek at the Palm Treo 850 that definitely is easy on the eye. So far, further details are still as hard to come by as Elvis sightings, but at least we do know this puppy will be powered by a 400MHz processor (oh why can't it pass the 500MHz mark?) and 100MB RAM. Will the Palm Treo 850 revive the flagging hardware manufacturer's fortunes? Only time will tell, as it depends on how you vote with your wallet.

Christian Dior Phone Costs a Bomb

Christian Dior Phone Costs a Bomb

Guess the Christian Dior handset is not all hot air, as it is set for an official announcement pretty soon. Manufactured by French designer phone specialist Modelabs, this designer handset will retail between $3,500 to $5,000, with the possibility of even passing the higher mark should you decide to settle for real diamonds instead of the much cheaper alternative consisting of Swarovski crystals. This phone will function worldwide save for Japan and Korea, which points toward a GSM handset with the high probability of 3G connectivity being included. Other features include a touch screen display, a digital camera as well as custom graphics and wallpapers that will appeal to the snob in you.

Nokia Aeon Concept Goes Live

Nokia Aeon Concept Goes Live?

Apparently Nokia researchers seem to have the privilege of playing around with an actual Nokia Aeon model in the labs, featuring a touch screen display, new types of casing graphics as well as various form factors that will see the phone break down into several pieces. The actual concept seems to be filtered down to certain Nokia handsets in parts, so you can forget about taking the Aeon concept as a whole, but instead it is a playground where imagination runs wild and becomes reality should it prove to be worthy.

Acer Aspire PREDATOR: my inner sexist says it's
for boys

acer predator.jpg
This PC is for Gaming Experts. Specifically, it's for Gaming Experts who would feel happy having a burnt orange tower and screen, or in Acer's words 'an aggressive chassis'. However, surely the most striking feature (according to the press release) is the fact that you can open the bottom and remove any of the four hard drives even when the machine is in use. I was unaware that was a integral component to Call of Duty 4.

Two birds, one stone: USB drive and Bluetooth
headset in one

Blutrek_Bluetooth _headset.jpg
It's fair to say that some of us feel more than a bit weighted down with the amount of gadgetry we carry around on a daily basis. Obviously heavy weight doesn't really apply to carting around USB sticks and Bluetooth headsets. But that's in the literal sense. In the non-literal sense this might be a nuisance to some of you and yes, you might feel weighted down in a metaphorical sense.

Bluetooth cassette adaptor - new tech reaching
out to old

bluetooth cassette.bmp
It's impossible to embrace all new technology, all of the time, unless you've got the bank balance of Donald Trump. One area of tech lag is often the car - it's the only area left where CDs are still cutting edge.
