Projectors Will Be Mobile

Projectors Will Be Mobile

While projectors have shrunk in size considerably over the years, they still aren't too portable in a sense despite being able to be lugged around with just one hand. Advancements in technology will soon see projectors get even more mobile, being included in devices such as cell phones while retaining features that are found in larger projectors used at home and at the office. Michael Lebby, president and CEO of the OIDA (Optoelectronics Industry Development Association) predicted at SID 2008, "Projectors will be 1/10 as small and four times as bright as existing products in 2012". Guess it will be at least four more years before folks start broadcasting their YouTube videos for all and sundry to watch as long as there is some free surface area to do so.

FCC gives nod to Sony Ericsson G702

FCC gives nod to Sony Ericsson G702

Guess the Sony Ericsson Z780 isn't the only handset from the cell phone manufacturer to receive an approval from the FCC, as the Sony Ericsson G702 has followed suit as well. This GSM/EDGE 850/1900 handset will come with :-

Sounds like a pretty feature packed handset to me - I can't wait for it to actually roll out in the flesh.

Super Phone Concept

Super Phone Concept

I know that many of us want a cell phone that has a touch screen display as well as a svelte yet fashionable body, but this Super Phone concept is no people pleaser considering its size that is virtually the longest cell phone we would ever see should it be manufactured. Despite being elongated, it will ditch features we have come to take for granted such as MP3 and video playback as well as a digital camera. I'm rather worried about its length though since the chance of breaking the handset looks to be pretty high. This is definitely a phone that one won't be able to stuff into a pants pocket without having it stick out.

SanDisk Dads & Grads Season

SanDisk Dads & Grads Season

SanDisk aims to make both fathers as well as fresh graduates happy by offering a range of its products that will cater to a rather geeky segment of the male population. Among them are the Sansa Fuze MP3 player, the Cruzer Titanium Plus USB flash drive, SanDisk Video HD cards and SanDisk Mobile Ultra cards. All the gift ideas listed by SanDisk do not cross the $150 mark, so you can pretty much work out your budget for the month in order to accommodate such purchases. What would you get dad this Father's Day from SanDisk?

FCC Approves Sony Ericsson Z780

FCC Approves Sony Ericsson Z780

The Sony Ericsson Z780 has just been given the nod of approval from the FCC, which means this clamshell handset ought to be making its way to carriers in the immediate future. Images have revealed an AT&T logo on it, so no prizes for guessing which carrier will feature this soon. I suppose it does come with an insurance plan since this is no iPhone. If you're a constant globe-trotter and would want a phone that works no matter which continent you're on, the Sony Ericsson Z780 is a candidate worth considering since it featurues quad-band GSM and tri-band 3G UMTS.
