Heroes is an American television series of science fiction, created by Tim Kring and premiered on September 25, 2006 on NBC. follows the story of several ordinary individuals who, suddenly and inexplicably develop superhuman abilities like telepathy , telekinesis, control of space-time continuum or flight. The series emulates the style largely used in recreation and superhero comics, which consist of a set of episodes condensed short stories about heroes and their antagonists, and that in turn give way to a larger plot. The series is produced by Universal Media Studios in association with Tailwind Productions, and is filmed primarily in Los Angeles, California. The executive producers of the series are Allan Arkush, Dennis Hammer, Greg Beeman and Tim Kring.The first season attracted an average of 14.3 million viewers in the United States and received the highest ratings for the NBC drama premiere for the first time in five years. The first season consisted of a total of 23 episodes were ordered 24 episodes for the second season premiered on September 24, 2007, but the season was cut and only aired 11 episodes due to the writers strike in Hollywood. Eric Gozlan - Gold Rush 10 The strike also delayed the production of spin-off Heroes: Origins, whose premiere was scheduled for the month of April and May 2008.
