Add to myYahoo!By Andrew Liszewski I often wonder how many tons of ice I pushed through my Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine as a kid. In hindsight I could have probably started a successful snow cone business on my front lawn, and with all that manual cranking I would have had the biggest set of pythons in the 4th grade. [...]

Add to myYahoo!By Andrew Liszewski I've been passively looking for a cheap digital video camera for posting the occasional YouTube video. The JVC Everio S Series I wrote about yesterday is tempting, but I think it's a bit too large to carry around on a daily basis, and I'd prefer something a bit cheaper. The Flip camcorders have [...]

Add to myYahoo!By Andrew Liszewski I'm all for incorporating retro trends into a pair of sneakers, but I'm afraid these Tetris print Pumas just don't do it for me. The shoes are custom variations of the Disc Blaze model which first came out in 1994 and besides the Tetris pattern print, they also feature some early '90s color [...]

Add to myYahoo!By Evan Ackerman Turing exercise into a video game is such an awesome idea, since everybody agrees that exercise totally sucks and video games are totally awesome. Cyclepong 2.0 uses a pair of stationary bikes to control a competitive game of pong; pedaling forwards and backwards moves your paddle up and down. Seriously, somebody should really [...]

Add to myYahoo!By Evan Ackerman I've been a Netflix member since somewhere back when living in the "2000s" was still a novelty. I was a bit skeptical when they introduced online streaming last year, but I have to say, I'm hooked now. Despite a somewhat frustrating reliance on Internet Explorer, it's easy to use and works great, with [...]

Sony has just made available its Rolly portable audio player in the US, slapping a price tag of $400 on it in the process. This definitely puts it away from the impulse purchase category, but I think it will catch on pretty much considering how this is a novelty gadget. I mean, your iPod or Zune certainly won't be able to groove according to the tune it is currently playing, right? The Rolly is able to do this, featuring specially programmed choreographed moves that will definitely spruce up any party or group meet-up. It has a battery life of 4 hours (when both motion and audio playback is involved), but will last an hour longer if you disable motion. I would have liked to see its 2GB internal memory being augmented by some sort of memory card slot, but here's to Rolly 2.0 (if it ever comes out). Wonder what took Sony so long to release this, considering it already comes in black in other countries.
