This is one clock that we don't think we would appreciate having right beside our beds - just take a look at the really huge hammer of the Wrestling Bell Alarm Clock and you'll know why! They will ring incessantly each morning at the set time, making sure you won't be late for that all-important business appointment. Would make a great conversation starter though.

Samsung to release first LiMo handset before 2010

Samsung has reiterated their commitment to roll out the first LiMo-compliant cellphone in South Korea before 2009 comes to an end, and it will come in the form of the SCH-M510. The SCH-M510 will be equipped with a 3.5" WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, an integrated accelerometer and support for a variety of multimedia formats, be they video or audio.

Garmin Custom Maps introduced

Garmin recently announced their free Custom Maps service which enables Garmin Oregon, Garmin Dakota and Garmin Colorado owners upload their digital maps onto their device, and heck - even paper maps are supported this time round. You will first need to update the software on your PC beforehand, alongside giving the aforementioned Garmin devices their relevant upgrades as well. Maps are saved in the JPG format, where you will then create an image overlay, link the JPG file, adjust the boundaries, followed by beaming it to your device.
