The day that all Android fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. Google has finally pulled the wrapper off its latest operating system: Android 4.0, better known as Ice Cream Sandwich. This time around, Google has decided to focus on making the operating system “enchanting”, easy to use and appealing to more people. And from what they introduced at the unveiling, I think they’ve managed to hit the spot with Ice Cream Sandwich.

Yup, it?s official folks! The third generation Nexus device by Samsung is now official, and it looks it will be going by the Galaxy Nexus moniker instead of the Nexus Prime name that we have been hearing so much about. As far as hardware specs are concerned, it?s pretty much the same specs that was leaked earlier on today.

Mobile phone accessory manufacturer Scosche Industries has just announced the availability of the new Scosche clipSYNC: a compact charge and sync cable for keeping your mobile devices charged. What makes this charge/sync cable different from the stock ones that come with your phone or third party alternatives on the market is its cleverly placed spring-loaded carbineer clip. The addition of the carbineer clip makes it easy to bring around with you wherever you go.
Instead of having your cables all tangled up in the bottom of your bag, the clipSYNC can be hooked onto the outside of your bag or even on the belt loop of your pants if you feel so inclined. It is made from rugged aluminum and durable polycarbonate that is built to withstand normal wear and tear that occurs during travel. The clipSYNC is available in both iPod/iPhone, Micro & Mini USB models. It is available now for $19.99.

Add to myYahoo!BlueAnt has made a very big boast, as they claim that the Q2 is “the best sounding Bluetooth headset ever built”. I don’t know if it is safe to say that, but the Q2 does have some great things going for it. The Q2 has some really high quality speakers that were precision tuned and [...]

For those of you who were hoping that we’d see the Vita on our shores by the end of the year ? we’ve got some bad news for you. Unless you manage to find somebody to import the portable console from Japan for you, you’re going to have to wait like the rest of the world. Sony has officially announced today that its next-generation portable console, the PlayStation Vita, will be available in the US, Canada, Latin America and Europe on February 22nd 2012.
Sony also promises that the PS Vita will launch with “a vast library of titles that deliver unique gameplay experiences that go beyond any handheld or mobile device on the market.” Well, I guess the delay would be better than having the console launch with no games right? Not to mention it gives us all more time to save up for one. How many of you will be picking up the PS Vita on day one?

While we’ve had HD-quality streaming movies for some time now, the same couldn?t be said about the audio experience for folks with 7.1 surround sound systems. Well, we’ve got some good news for you. Dolby has just announced the first 7.1 surround sound experience over a streaming service. Partnering with VUDU, together they have enabled over 30 titles with 7.1 surround sound for streaming to your home theater system.
With more titles in the work, soon the days of having to purchase Blu-ray discs for the “best” audio visual experience are going to be over. Starting today, users can watch movies like Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides in 7.1 surround sound over VUDU’s video on demand service. No word on when Dolby will be bringing the feature to other services but it shouldn’t be too far away.

Remember the upcoming Vertu Constellation T phone that was unveiled earlier this month? Well, it was rumored to be released sometime in October, and it turns out that the phone was launched today. Vertu held an event at the Palazzo Serbelloni in Milan, Italy that was attended by a whole host of international guests. Unlike most smartphone launches where we have people from the tech industry in attendance, this event was had actors, actresses and super models instead. Well then again, it’s Vertu we’re talking about here.
The Vertu Constellation T will be the Nokia-owned company’s first touchscreen phone. The Symbian-powered device (probably Anna or Belle) will feature an 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 32GB of onboard storage, and a 3.5″ nHD AMOLED display. Interested folks can find out more from Vertu’s website or head out to your local Vertu retail outlet.
