If you think that your handset needs a cellphone charm, how about getting this minivan speaker that can also keep your little one occupied with faux "Vroom vroom!" sounds while you're driving an actual minivan? Each minivan measures 9cm long, and will playback tunes from your handset's media player. It has a built-in battery, so no worries about this sapping juice from your already taxed handset. They retail for a mere $12 a pop, consuming far less gas than an actual minivan.

Henrik Amberla's Milky Way clock takes a different route compared to other timepieces, where it also doubles up as an art object on your beside table. Definitely a conversation starter, this will also be able to wake you up to something nice to look at each morning. Meant to reflect on the duality and unity of the sleep/wake cycle, this alarm clock allows you to kick in the snooze function by simply turning the device. In order to set the alarm, another turning motion is required.

Folks who can't get enough of Facebook with a window open on your desktop permanently while your iPhone has a Facebook app running in the background, here's good news. As reported earlier, Facebook for the PS3 will make its grand entrance this Thursday with the new 3.10 firmware update roll out. It is but a first step where Facebook integration is concerned, and future updates are expected to see new features thrown into the mix.

But not out - at least that's what we hope. The essential BlackBerry Internet Service, also known as BIS, is not working for a whole lot of people globally. This has been happening for a few hours already, and there is still no official announcement on why this outage has happened. We could even be looking at up to 80% of users being affected here. Do leave a comment if you're upset at this outage, leaving you with little choice but to do actual work in front of your PC instead blogging or updating your Facebook.

Add to myYahoo!By Ravit Lichtenberg (blog) – This year, GigaOm’s NewTeeVee Live has explored TV Everywhere. In addition to general sessions, the conference featured 10 upcoming video startups—each providing a critical element of video and TV viewing puzzle. In Thursday's morning session, the first five companies present their predictions for TV and video:

The company (elementaltechnologies.com), which is headquartered in Portland, raised 7.1M Series A funding in June 2008 and has burned $2M in 3 years with 27 employees. Customers include the CDC—the number one consumer of video, as well as Adobe and Microsoft.

Add to myYahoo!By Andrew LiszewskiSay what you will about George Lucas and his merchandising empire, but I have to give them credit for realizing how important their fans are and not always having a knee-jerk lawsuit reaction to every single Star Wars homage. As if the myriad of USB-powered warmers from Thanko aren't enough to keep you warm during the chilly winter months in front of the computer, here's yet another product to make sure your body temperature remains regulated - the Thanko USB Blanket. It is easily transportable by rolling it up, and when connected to a powered USB port, it will warm up nicely, making it the ideal bed for your pets as well (of course, hopefully they won't pee all over your notebook which it is connected to). Warm, fuzzy feelings for this holiday season, eh?

Junior might not have a driving license just yet, but that doesn't mean he cannot zip around in a Junior 35 MPH Classic Corvette. Measuring 2/3rd in scale to that of the gasoline-powered 1956 Corvette C1, and is capable of hitting a top speed of 35 mph. Naturally, it relies on an automatic transmission to get around, where this single shifter will control forwards, neutral and backwards movement. Supporting your kid and his date, it even handles obese kids thanks to a 330 lbs weight limit.

Magellan recently introduced its RoadMate iPhone app which will include text-to-speech, lane assist and in-app music controls, retailing for all of $79.99. Apart from that, Magellan has plans for a car kit which will boast an integrated GPS receiver alongside enough space to accommodate the iPhone or iPod touch. Where does this leave Droid users? Hoepfully GPS vendors such as Magellan, TomTom and Navigon will be able to offer something different and new in the near future.
