The Timeless Capture concept is basically a device which will “force” an emotional attachment upon the user, relying on selective photography to get the job done. This unique bond will strengthen itself each time you shoot an image, which obtains more and more irreplaceable value along the way. Specially designed to look like a modern keepsake with retro tones, the captured images will be directed to the viewer sans wires right away, where it is the only access point for one to view the images the moment the camera is in close proximity. Since the more you use it, the higher the figure of precious moments are captured, making the Timeless Capture all the more personal and valuable. Tell you what, you can also achieve a similar emotional attachment with a modern digital camera without replacing the SD or CF memory card in there. I guess the Timeless Capture concept is not too likely to see the light of day.

It is not rocket science that Diablo 3 has burned up the news wires today ever since the game kicked off at midnight, and Korean players have allegedly completed the game already. Well, opportunity knocks on the door of scammers who want to ride on the Diablo 3 fever at this moment, where this nefarious group have launched their fair share of scams that include bogus cracks as well as key generator sites for the desperate to grasp at straws as gamers look to overcome the technical glitches occurring on Diablo 3 servers. After all, the fake sites do have their allure as gamers struggle to get obtain legitimate content via regular channels without any success. Some scame sites will end up installing suspicious software on your computer, while other links end up in you viewing unrelated Flash-based games, spam link dumps as well as a ?donation experiment?. Just be more careful with all things Diablo 3 that you come across the Internet now and you should be all right.

Folks living in Asia who have gotten their hands on a copy of Diablo 3 have experienced this thing called “Error 12″, where the digital version shows off “Error 12 – No license attached”. Those living in Korea have GMs who have already started a thread on the forums to inform affected gamers to manually flag digital accounts so that they can continue their dungeon hacking experience, as this is the only way for Digital Edition players to get their game on at the moment as the GMs painstakingly flag individual accounts. As for those living in Taiwan, the situation is rather more dire since no GMs are around to flag accounts.
Apart from Error 3006, we also have those living in Europe experience Error 37, which translates to the login servers being overloaded – something that is expected considering the sheer volume of gamers who have waited for years for Diablo 3, and are now trying to get their Barbarian’s career jumpstarted. A handful of gamers have also reported “Error 75 temp outage of BNET”, too. Well, all I can say is, once the dust surrounding Diablo 3 has settled (which might take some time to happen), life ought to return to normal, and you should be able to login without any further issues.

Add to myYahoo!Google has just updated their Chrome browser for Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame, bumping up the version number to 19 in its latest iteration. Apart from the slew of bug fixes as well as performance improvements, the spotlight is being pointed at built-in tab synchronizing, enabling Chrome users to open up a slew of tabs across a range of devices, ranging from tablets to smartphones which are powered by the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Basically, this enables one to continue browsing on a different device with all the tabs opened elsewhere to appear. To sweeten the deal, Chrome will also make sure that your browsing history is synchronized, allowing you to take advantage of the Back and Forward buttons. This borders on the magical, and will certainly make plenty of power Chrome users smile as well as casual users finding the user experience to be a whole lot more optimal. The tab syncing feature is said to roll out ?gradually over the coming weeks?, so being patient would be the keyword here.

Do you happen to be in possession of the Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE smartphone? If you have answered in the affirmative, then you would be pleased to hear that you can perform an update for the device, and this can be done Over The Air (OTA) or via KIES, depending on which is your cup of tea. This is no pre-release ROM leak, or a custom ROM, but rather, it is the official Android 4.0.3 update that when applied, will enable you to take advantage of features including Facelock without running into any issues. It can be said to be unfortunate that this update is still not released for the Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE HD, as Samsung says that they require additional time in order to take advantage of this particular update. For those who have already applied the update, are you happy with it, or have you run into any issues in particular that have contrived to move you to tear out some hair from your head? At least it has nothing to do with the Error 3006 bug…

Tizen is a new mobile operating system that is being co-developed by Intel and Samsung, and we have caught a whiff of it earlier this week. Well, not only can Tizen support programs which were coded using Samsung?s Bada SDK, it is also able to support apps that were originally meant for the Android environment, too, at least according to the Handheld Blog. The Tizen operating system will be able to support a program known as Application Compatibility Layer (ACL), which is not different from Research in Motion?s Android player for the BlackBerry PlayBook. The company behind ACL is Open Mobile, and they are proud to claim that Android apps can run on a Tizen-powered device without suffering from any compatibility problems, although that claim remains to be tested. It is also said that you can expect a similar level of responsiveness on the Tizen device compared to using it on a native Android smartphone or tablet. If that is true, then it is safe to assume that Tizen does have a relatively bright future ahead of them if more and more hardware manufacturers decide to take up its cause.

The age of Ultrabooks are upon us, where super slim models are starting to proliferate the market, but there is still a niche for traditional form factor notebooks, especially for those who are on a relatively tight budget and do not mind lugging around additional pounds on their shoulders wherever they go. The Panasonic Let’s Note J10 is one of them Ultrabooks which are thicker than normal, but you do gain from the 12.5 hours of battery life, as you can opt for an Intel 35W TDP Core i3, i5 or i7 processor underneath the hood as well. Not only that, depending on the system configuration, you can choose from a hard drive or an SSD inside, with up to 8GB RAM on board. A 10.1″ display at 1366 x 768 resolution, an Ethernet port, an USB 3.0 port, a couple of USB 2.0 ports, an SD memory card reader, HDMI and S-sub ports and a pair of audio jacks are thrown into the mix as well, with the option to include Bluetooth connectivity at additional cost. Prices start from $1,500 onwards, which is rather pricey.

Some folks just have the gift of language, picking up the new language with ease, navigating through all the mazes that quaint grammatical rules throw at them with flying colors. Well, sign language is a totally different ballgame, and a trio of engineering students from Cornell University have come up with the future forward Sign Language Translator glove as part of their final project. This prototype glove will employ the ingenious use of accelerometers, contact sensors and flex sensors to actually perform a translation of what is deemed as complex finger gestures from the American Sign Language alphabet into spoken letters. In fact, American Sign Language is the sixth most “spoken” language in America, making this unique glove a winner right from its conception. (more…)
