The Xbox 360 60GB will see interesting features thrown into the fray, including faster load times with the ability for games to be played directly off from the hard drive, and this will indirectly translate to less noise as well. Of course, you will still need the original disc in your drive to prevent the scourge of piracy. In addition, the blades interface will be built in directly into the Xbox Guide, making it possible to access your full games library even while in a game. Last but not least, the Xbox 360 will support the 16:10 aspect ratio over VGA or HDMI, and work in 1,440 x 900 and 1,680 x 1,050 resolutions. Are these enough to make you purchase an Xbox 360 if you haven't done so already?

We've seen Star Wars Transformers, so how about a Batman-themed line? After all, Christopher Nolan did do a pretty good job revitalizing the franchise, and something like this should be picked up by Hasbro as they attempt to "transform" any successful films into a toy line. Unfortunately, the Tumbler Autobot Edition you see here is but a Batman-themed concept, so it remains to be seen whether it will reach the eyes (and ears) of Hasbro executives to issue a directive to start mass manufacturing this line, pronto! I'd never look at another tumbler the same way again, I swear.

The Hacked USB flash drive you see here is a pretty interesting concept - it carries 2GB of storage space and looks as though somebody pulled your USB cable in half, or you weren't too careful when getting up from your desk with a USB device just attached to it. Good to see this concept materialize into something concrete. I can't wait to get my hands on one and see the reactions (as well as questions) coming my way. I'm pretty sure a well meaning person (or two) will probably come up to me and kindly let me know that my USB cable is torn in half...

While the Wii MotionPlus you saw earlier is very real, what you see here is but a concept. Guess the Wiimote is more versatile than we thought, eh? This modified version is able to help you out with your kitchen chores, and I would presume the whisk add-on you see here can be replaced with other items. Hopefully this is some special waterproof Wiimote as kitchens tend to get messy during meal preparation, requiring you to clean up with plenty of water. Last time I checked, electronics and water aren't exactly the best of pals.

You know that this is a truly globalized world where platform exclusivity does not last forever. Take the Final Fantasy franchise for example - it was first available to Nintendo owners only, and then the tide of power shifted to Sony's PlayStation platform only to revert to Nintendo back again and now, Microsoft's Xbox 360 console will be getting Final Fantasy XIII. Is that mind-blowing or what? I'm most interested to see the impact of such a title released on the Xbox 360 - will it be able to achieve what Blue Dragon (a Japanese developed RPG) failed to do on Microsoft's console where Japanese hardware sales are concerned?

Trekstor has released the i.Beat Movie portable media player that looks more like a cell phone or an MP3 player compared to a dedicated portable media player, but never mind the aesthetics - I'm sure most of you will be more interested in the specifications. Well, here they are below :-

Nintendo announced the Wii MotionPlus, an updated game controller add-on for the Wiimote which is more accurate. Wii MotionPlus is able to map player hand movements in 3D space, making it function much better compared to the current infra-red motion sensing technology. This peripheral connects to the end of the Wiimote which is a good thing, as you won't need to go all out and purchase yet another controller to leave the old one gathering dust. According to Nintendo, "Every slight movement players make with their wrist or arm is rendered identically in real time on the screen, providing a true 1:1 response in their game play. The Wii MotionPlus accessory reconfirms Nintendo's commitment to making games intuitive and accessible for everyone."

Microsoft has come together with Netflix to offer the “Watch Instantly” feature to the Xbox 360 console later this fall, which could possibly deal a major blow to Apple TV. With this introduction (coupled with the recent Xbox 360 price drop), it might actually move the Xbox 360 from 'want' to the 'need' category. This partnership will see the number of movie offerings double on Xbox Live, giving them access to more than 10,000 Watch Instantly movie titles. Interestingly enough, NBC television shows will also make an appearance on Xbox Live, dealing yet another blow to Apple since NBC pulled out its shows from iTunes last year.

Can't think of an anniversary gift that is so unique, there is only a handful of its kind in the world? Well, how about checking out the Knalihs Athem Diamond encrusted Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte or the diamond encrusted iPhone 3G (man, they're fast)? These limited edition handsets will have a maximum circulation of just 20 units. You will find 1,000 diamonds placed on the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte while the iPhone 3G has 400 rocks adorning it. I wonder just how much either handset will cost, but I suspect even if I slave away until 80 years old, I won't be able to afford this.
