Visualeyes Rayzer for safer night drive

Visualeyes Rayzer for safer night drive Driving at night can get pretty tricky, especially when your eyesight is not up to par. Visualeyes has developed the Rayzer that utilizes HID Xenon bulbs that were specially designed to match the spectrum of the human eye, reducing eye strain while making it less taxing to focus at a distance. In addition, Xenon bulbs hold the advantage of a longer average lifespan of 3,000 hours - that is roughly the equivalent of 5 years' of driving. The kit can be bolted to the front of the car, hidden right smack in between the rear view mirror and the windshield. The benefits of this location are numerous - it won't get stolen (unless your whole car goes), it does not interfect with your car's aerodynamics and is capable of projecting a better angle when directing light. The intensity can also be adjusted to suit your surroundings. There is no word on pricing, but the Rayzer kit will be made available sometime early next year onwards.

3D camera uses hand as joystick

3D camera uses hand as joystick 3DV Systems from Israel has developed the ZCam - a new 3D camera for PCs that are sensitive to motion where players are able to control on-screen action simply by flicking a finger. This is a whole new step upwards compared to what the Nintendo Wii offers at the moment. The camera tracks movements in three dimensions as it can sense depth. There is no definite price tag slapped on the ZCam yet, but when released, it will be in the region of similar video game peripherals. The ZCam will enter mass production sometime next year. I guess a boxing game using the ZCam will be much more intense compared to what you get on the Wii at this point in time, but be careful not to leave your opponent with a black eye in real life due to your over-zealousness.
