Here's yet another mouse with an integrated USB Skype phone in the same vein as Sony's Mouse Talk. With all the extra electronic components inside, the VP180 Skype mouse phone is a wee bit larger than the standard mouse. It is more practical than the Mouse Talk from Sony since there is a speaker on top that enables a hands-free chat, so you can continue surfing while holding a conversation. Flipping the mouse over will reveal a numeric keypad. There is no word on pricing and availability of this 800dpi optical mouse at the moment.

MP3-playing watches are pretty much a niche market, and they come with the bare essentials that are functional but not fun. The Aigo F029 wristwatch is different from the rest of the mould, featuring a full color OLED display with a resolution of 160 x 128 pixels. Not only does it support MP3 and WMA with DRM audio formats, this multi-tasking wristwatch does MPEG 4 video as well. We expect you to squint while watching videos though, as the screen is really too small for a full-length movie. Additional features include a headphone port, navigational controls, and a mini USB 2.0 port. The Aigo F029 is available in 512MB or 1GB versions. Pricing details and availability out of China is currently unknown. It would be cool if the manufacturers added in Bluetooth functionality to eliminate unsightly headphone wires.

Here's yet another contraption to keep your iPod happy and safe while you are frolicking by the beach or pool. The iSplash is a water-and-weather resistant boombox that caters for iPods as well as other audio devices with a mini headphone jack. Once the iPod is docked within the iSplash, you're good to go without having worrying about the party music stopping just because somebody spilt a Pina Colada over it. Features include a pair of high fidelity stereo speakers, an electronic equalizer, and a subwoofer jack. The iSplash is available from Sharper Image for $150.

Most budget flash-based digital audio players come with a pathetic amount of memory, but Panasonic decided to address the situation with its SV-SD300 by introducing a paradigm shift. There is no internal memory whatsoever - the SV-SD300 runs directly off your SD cards, so its size is limited by your budget. Features include a 4-line black-and-white LCD and a NiMH battery that boasts 23 hours of non-stop playback beforer requiring a recharge. Unfortunately, one questionable decision by Panasonic would be the USB 1.1 connection - we suggest you copy all the files over to the SD card via a USB 2.0 card reader before popping it in. Choose from white, silver, pink, and blue colors for $150. It is currently available in Europe and Japan.

If you're into your computer games like me but can't afford the coveted Logitech G7 Laser Mouse like me or even just prepared to commit the dough to the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse like me, then the Logitech G3 Laser Mouse may be the answer for you (and me). The G3 is Logitech's latest mouse offering to the gaming niche. I've personally been waiting quiet a while for this mouse since I first heard about it a few months back. Now that it's here i'm very eager to try it out. It's a corded mouse but that's the price you pay for precision. Coupled with a high sensitivity laser engine and on-the-fly sensitivity switching the only thing I wonder is why would anyone switch to a lower sensitivity setting anyway? The other great thing about this mouse and all the newer Logitech models is the Polytetrafluorethylene feet. This is just scientist-talk for ultra-smooth gliding stuff on the bottom of the mouse. But really, it is very smooth and almost feels like the mouse is flying!
Features of the Logitech G3 Laser Mouse:
- Full-speed USB at 500 reports/second, for precision at any speed.
- 2000 dpi gaming-grade laser engine; the highest-performance laser sensor for lightning-fast moves.
- Built for long gaming sessions, with its ultra-light design and DryGrip surface.
- Precise, fingertip control design; compact, ambidextrous design for quick wrist movements.
- Sensitivity switching on-the-fly; one-button instant switching between two sensitivity levels-800 dpi and 1600 dpi-before driver installation.
- Polytetrafluoroethylene gaming feet; low-friction feet for a super-smooth glide.

Add to myYahoo!Razer call their Pro Type the world’s most intelligent keyboard, and it sure looks quite interesting. Besides the usual ‘ergonomic’ chit chat, it features an integrated iPod dock, audio line-out, USB ports, media center keys and 10 programmable hot keys. Interesting.
