Korean Telecom reported last week that the company has already signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Apple that will see WiBro connectivity (Korea's version of WiMAX) appear on both iPods and MacBooks. Could this also be an indicator that WiMAX on the iPhone is a very real possibility in the future? Since WiBro is an early version 802.16e standard, which is better known as Mobile WiMAX today, this means such networks and services are currently being deployed by Sprint and many other companies around the globe. That could very well point towards a WiMAX-enabled iPhone in the near future, starting with Korea.

Users who constantly use those currently popular hard drive docking stations will definitely worry about how they normally store their precious hard disk when it isn?t docked. It?s all fine and dandy when it?s sitting in the dock, but when you unplug it, you probably leave it lying around your desk, which makes it an easy target for knocks, which your hard disk definitely isn?t fond of. Brando has noticed this and is currently selling a 3.5-inch silicone case for your naked hard disk, giving it some (meager) form of protection. About a third of the casing is detachable for when you want to plug it into the docking station. If you?re fussy about the health of your hard disks, then $17 probably isn?t too much to pay.

Don't you just hate it whenever you wear a sweater only to have someone come up and ask, "Is it cold?" With the Temperature Sweater, you can just turn them away without a vocal reply - instead, show them the LED thermometer reading on your sleeve and get on with your life (and they, theirs). The Temperature Sweater is not a concept but an actual garment to be sold, unfortunately pricing details have yet to be ironed out. This snug, fleece sweater will display the temperature in in Fº and Cº readings on each sleeve.

Here is an interesting piggy bank that will definitely find itself in good standing among prepubescent females. There is a choice of hot anime guys to choose from within, and placing a 500 yen coin will result in the guy pulling off some amorous moves on you, including asking you out on a date and sending you flowers each time you drop in more coins. The moment you save up 50,000 yen (that's $500), you would have won the guy over completely, and emptying the piggy bank will cause you to start over. Sounds like this stay at home boyfriend is nothing but a leeching bum, eh?

Rejoice if you are gunning for an Averatec Buddy netbook, as it now retails for $450 - a $30 discount over the 3-cell MSI Wind. This certainly beats going through the hassle of rebates, although you might run into a snag during your order. The product description mentioned a 12.1" display with a 3-cell battery, whereas the Buddy actually carries a 10.2" display. Perhaps miracles do still happen in this day and age when you open your shipment?
