Canon CP760 Introduced

Canon has just rolled out the simpler CP760, as we have covered the CP770 previously. This printer targets the home more than heavy duty usage at the office, offers a 2.5" preview LCD display while outputting 300 DPI images. You can choose to throw in an optional Bluetooth tuner if you happen to love the wireless lifestyle that is being evangelized to everyone these days. This printer ought to hit store shelves sometime this month for approximately $150.

Xbox 360 Redesign Rumor

Xbox 360 Redesign Rumor

Word on the street has it that fall 2009 will see the Xbox 360 being redesigned on the hardware front, pretty much like how Sony sent their original PS2 to the fathouse only to unveil the easily overheated slim PS2. One thing is confirmed though - the internal hardware used in the redesign will be the Valhalla chip, and it remains to be seen whether Microsoft will approve of an outer shell change. Do you think a redesigned Xbox 360 will boost flagging sales in certain territories? Perhaps Microsoft should have released the slim Xbox 360s in Japan in the first place with current fatties elsewhere to cater for different markets.

Nokia 2012 Concept Designs

Nokia 2012 Concept Designs

Nokia's main design contractor, Provoke Design must own a time machine of sorts (or a really wild imagination) in order to come up with concepts that might roll out come 2012. These new concepts are currently being paraded in New York at the HARDCORE New Finish Design exhibition starting this Saturday. These fully functional prototypes are supposed to demonstrate the core innovation proposed, whatever that means. They consist of Express, Share, and Feel concept models. I wonder if any of those pack in a projector of sorts.

Cybook Gen3 New Edition

Cybook Gen3 New Edition

It is the law of the jungle - the survival of the fittest. The same applies to the world of gizmos as well, and an e-book reader released some time ago will definitely fail miserably when stacked up against newer models of today. Hence the Cybook Gen3 New Edition which features a trio of improvements over the original. For starters, you get 512MB of internal memory, where 480MB of that will be allocated for storage purposes, while the new firmware 1.1 offers greater stability, superior battery lifetime and a more reactive button interface. Last but not least is a revised housing with a navigation button that has tactile feedback. These improvements won't see a price increase, as you will still pay $350 for the Standard and $450 for the Deluxe models. In fact, you're probably getting more today since your dollar is worth less.

Weird website of the week: Man Baby

MB.jpg
I burst into fits of laughter when I saw this and just had to bring it to your attention. Man baby!! Hmmm, if someone said the phrase man baby to me I'd automatically conjur up images of a grown man behaving like a little child, or even worse, a spoiled child! Well that's what this website does...well errr, kind of.
