Add to myYahoo! What is it?It’s a twist on the traditional “spork” concept, with a fork/knife combo on one end and a spoon on the other. For me, this thing screams geeky coolness. I eat lunch at work quite often, and this little utensil has been really and truly useful. No matter what I end up brining with me, [...]

I have to admit to a bit of a bias towards the VAIO series because, well, that's what I'm using to write this. My little VAIO would probably hang its head in shame to be compared to the new SZ3 series, though, because just look at all the features! Working in partnership with T-Mobile the ultra-portable SZ3 aims to cut out all the hassle normally associated with getting online when you're on the move: it uses next-generation ExpressCard hardware to provide fast connection speeds of up to 3.6 mbps. There's even a free trial of the T-Mobile service so you can make sure that it does exactly what it says on the tin.
The SZ3 claims to be the only notebook in the world that coms with two graphics chips, and also includes integrated Motion Eye webcam, fingerpint recognition and hard disk drop technology. Oh, and 2GB worth of memory. Pretty cool, no?

Add to myYahoo!Ask Mobile Search integrates Skweezer technology to optimize search experience.
IRVINE, Calif., October 12, 2006?Greenlight Wireless Corporation announced that its Skweezer technology, which optimizes Web content for mobile devices, has been integrated into the new Ask Mobile ( http://mobile.ask.com ) which was launched today.
Ask Mobile users who click on a search result, or any other link that leaves the site, access an optimized version of the target Web page created by Skweezer. Skweezer's proprietary compression algorithms, developed and refined over the past five years, significantly reduce Web content typically to 15% or less of its original file size. This allows Web pages to load much more quickly and has the added benefit of greatly reducing bandwidth requirements. Web pages viewed through Skweezer are also intelligently reformatted, providing intuitive and convenient access to content from a small-screen device.
Ask Mobile users can also load RSS feeds through Skweezer, allowing access to lightweight versions of syndicated content ideally suited for the mobile environment. Skweezer technology is completely platform independent and can be used with Pocket PC, Palm, Symbian, MS Smartphone, Blackberry, PSP2, and XHTML-based cell phone devices.
"The new Ask Mobile makes it easy for users of Web-enabled cell phones, PDAs and other mobile devices to take advantage of the world-class relevance and superior search tools offered by Ask.com," said Doug Leeds, vice president of product management for Ask.com. "The integration of the Skweezer technology accelerates page loads and optimizes content for small mobile displays, directly improving the mobile experience for searchers."
"Every time I use the Ask.com search engine, I'm blown away by the quality of the results combined with its ease-of-use, ..

Thanks to iFreq and its like, now you can have music wherever you go - yes, even in your clapped out old car with its non-MP3 playing radio. Sonnet's iFreq allows you to connect your iPod to your car radio, letting you play MP3s through the radio and releasing you from the aural hell that is the radio DJ. Now, the jury's still out on whether this counts as "pirate radio" or not, so you may want to wait on the official word from Offcom before you rush out and buy one. If and when you do, you'll find it easy enough to control the airwaves: designed for the iPod Nano, iFreq comes with a special cradle which snaps onto the dash to hold your Nano, while the removal dock also works with other iPod models.
