Mark June 17 on your calendars as that would be when the OnLive 'Games-on-Demand' service powered by cloud-servers arrives. Steve Perlman and Mike McGarvey, founders of OnLive, has taken the opportunity to announce the subscription plans for the service for both PCs and Macs, albeit only for folks living in the US, with no word on availability and their respective subscription plans for the European region at the moment. What is OnLive? It is a 'Games on Demand' service powered by Cloud-servers and based on subscription model. The moment you access the huge library of games, you can play them instantly over the Internet without having to worry about system compatibility and going through the whole tedious installation process. With 720p HD quality video gaming, expect to spend more time cooped up at home now. For more context, check out our hands-on of the OnLive Game Service at last year's GDC.

First we had a look at the Carpuccino that ran on coffee, taking up to 50 cups of espresso to move a mile. Hopefully mileage of this £200,000 Chocolate Powered Racing Car is better, thanks to the efforts of students at the University of Warwick. Touted to be the world’s first sustainable Formula 3 racing car, it comes with a top speed of 135 miles per hour and can surprisingly hit the magical zero to 60 mark in a mere 2.5 seconds. We do wonder whether the brand of the chocolate matters or not...

Mobiado is back with another millionaire-friendly phone - the Classic 712GCB. This handset is touted to be an “expression of mechanical perfection, mastering of aesthetic details, and the integrity of consistent craftsmanship.” When going through the specifications list, it is not too far away from the Classic 712ZAF, featuring a candybar form factor accompanied by a 2.2" QVGA display, 3G connectivity, GPS support, a web browser, music player and a 5-megapixel camera with flash. Made from stainless steel, it will also have a touch of luxury with large sapphire crystal plates and 24K gold wrapping its exterior. Heck, even the handset's keys are also made out of sapphire crystal hand-painted with gold. No idea on pricing, but this is a classic case of "if you have to ask..."

Looks like folks with the iPhone won't be able to gloat over Palm owners anymore since the Unreal Engine 3 will be making its way to the webOS platform as well. While details are pretty scarce at the moment, Palm just announced a deal with Epic Games at the Games Developer Conference in San Francisco. We can't wait to see the processors found within Palm's range of devices to be put to good use with quality games. What are some of the titles running on this Unreal Engine that you would like to see realized?

Shuo of China has come up with a tablet that is surprisingly large, considering it packs a massive 10.1" device. Underneath the hood however, you will find a 1.2GHz processor of either VIA or Atom variety, and it can hold up to 2GB RAM. You do get HDMI out as well, but without any mention of a HD-capable playback chip, we do wonder what the whole point of that output port is for. Rumor has it that Windows 7 is the operating system of choice, but we will just have to wait until official word on its pricing and availability are revealed.
