Onkyo has just released a new audio system known as the CR-D@ that comes with a built-in digital amplifier, and ought to be out on the 7th anniversary of 9/11 in Japan. This caters to your ageing CD collection with a built-in CD player, while you can always choose to tune in to the latest radio stations with the FM tuner while the ability to control your iPod via the CR-D2 directly is also there, thanks to VLSC technology. Other features include a maximum output power of 60 Watts x 2 (4?), a signal / Noise ratio of 100dB, and a frequency response of 10Hz-60kHz. No idea on pricing though.
