Could this be the Samsung Galaxy S III

With the Samsung Galaxy Nexus/Nexus Prime/Droid Prime not even out the door, let alone seeing an official announcement or acknowledge about the device, and with the Samsung Galaxy S2 arriving in the US not too long ago, there has already been talk about a Samsung Galaxy S III, and it looks like it?s already in the works if the leaked photo above is to be believed.

German hackers accuse German government of
creating trojan

If you watch movies such as Die Hard 4.0, you?ll know that governments in general do not hold much love for hackers and viruses, but what happens when the government itself is accused of developing a virus? While that sounds like it could be a plot for a movie, German hackers called the Chaos Computer Club (CCC) have discovered a trojan which they?re claiming was written by the German government.

3G MacBook Pro prototype: Return to sender

The world first learnt of a 3G MacBook Pro prototype in August earlier this year where it was spotted on eBay, subsequently pulled off and finding its way back to the Apple headquarters in Cupertino. I guess that is only fitting, and the person wasn’t as tough as Brian Lam of Gizmodo when he was personally contacted by Steve Jobs to return the lost iPhone 4 prototype that was lost at a bar. Ever since Apple took back of what they thought was rightfully theirs, previous owner Carl Frega did petition Apple to return the repair parts of the prototype to him.

Motorola launches RhoElements

Heard of RhoElements before? Don’t be ashamed or afraid of shaking your head, as we haven’t either. It seems that RhoElements hails from the stables over at Motorola, and is a Web-based application framework that was turned into reality thanks to its acquisition of the cross-platform mobile app development platform known as Rhomobile. Since Motorola acquired Rhomobile earlier this year (July 29, 2011 to be exact), it obviously makes plenty of sense for Motorola to maximize that acquisition.

LED technology transforms windows into displays

You know how clever the world of design has become, where our standard issue refrigerators these days come with highly reflective surfaces that helps you do away with mirrors in the kitchen? Want to see whether that tie of yours is out of place? Simple, just walk up to the refrigerator and make an adjustment. Samsung plays with this idea further by assigning their engineers to work with advanced LED technologies in order to turn ordinary window panes into surfaces that also double up as lighting and display screens.

Amazons Kindle Fire accused of patent
infringement

Amazon Kindle FireThe Amazon Kindle Fire was announced a few weeks back, and with a launch scheduled for the 15th of November, it looks like the tablet is under fire for allegedly infringing upon patents belonging to Smartphone Technologies whose parent company is Acacia Research. If the company Smartphone Technologies sounds familiar, it is because they have gone after Apple and RIM in the past, similarly claiming patent infringement, and it looks like Amazon?s Kindle Fire is their latest target.

Android Market and Gmail app blocked in China,
again

We know that China isn?t exactly the most Google-friendly country, with Android users in China now and then facing difficulties when attempting to access to the Android Market. This has been an issue that has dated back to 2009 which resulted in alternative app stores from China, which while isn?t exactly what Google had in mind, is better than nothing.
