Garmin Forerunner 305 Foot Pod

Garmin Forerunner 305 Foot Pod
Garmin is noted for its reliable range of portable navigation systems, and the company has expanded its product portfolio to include the Forerunner 305 Foot Pod. This new device will communicate with the Forerunner 305 device that is worn on the wrist wirelessly via Dynastream's ANT+Sport wireless technology. It is essentially a take on the Nike + iPod kit, as you mount the Foot Pod on a shoe to track your distance and speed. The Foot Pod is powered by a single AAA battery that can last for up to 70 hours before running out of juice. The new Forerunner 305 Foot Pod from Garmin will be available when October rolls around at the recommended retail price of $99.99.

Coby TF-DVD8500 portable DVD player

Coby TF-DVD8500 portable DVD player
Coby's new TF-DVD8500 portable DVD player comes with a generous 8.5" TFT display that remains at home either behind a headrest or in the air during a long haul flight. The TF-DVD8500 is compatible with a wide range of media and formats, including DVDs, CDs (including CD-R and CD-RW), MP3, and JPEG. The integrated stereo speakers will definitely be underutilized as most people prefer the privacy of a pair of headphones. Features include A/V out, A/V in, composite video and optical audio output. If you do your fair share of snooping, you will realize that the TF-DVD8500 is a bargain at $150.
