Dogs are smart animals, so it makes sense that their technological counterparts carry some semblance of intelligence as well like how the USB Smart Dog Hub is. It comes with a rectangular-shaped head which can be detached (creepy!), providing you with an instant portable radio complete with auto-scan capability from 88MHz to 108MHz. Connecting it back to its body will turn it into a computer speaker (albeit a lousy one) as well. There are two USB 2.0 ports on each side of this digital pooch. I suppose it is widely documented that hardcore drinkers often come with a beer belly, evidence of years of boozing. Eventually, this group will evolve into a couch potato, gaining weight on a steady diet of TV programs, pizza and beer. Klipsch is a name synonymous with great sounding audio, and the Palladium P-39F doesn't only offer superb audio but it does so with a clear conscience. I say so because it comes clad in a "Linia" veneer, which is available in three different finishes and proves to be a very close match to rare zebrawood. After all, it was carefully hand-selected and made from real trees in government-sanctioned controlled harvests - sounds more like a jam advertisement, hand-picked berries and all that jazz. The only drawback is the price - you would have to be loaded in order to afford the £7,685 asking price.

At first glance, this doesn't even look remotely close to a motorcycle - the nUCLEUS concept takes on the "Square against Air" electric motorcycle design, hoping to make things more aerodynamic for the masses should this actually roll out of a factory somewhere. You get a thin, comfortable saddle as well as horse-like behavior that lowers itself when idle and raises when in motion. These pieces of metal are but blades from the front, and I have absolutely no idea how this will fare at high speeds, assuming it can even go that fast in the first place. Definitely not something you would want to use when picking ladies up from the club on Saturday nights.

Cuusoo Concept Phone

The Cuusoo concept phone that you see here heralds from Japan, boasting a detachable screen portion that allows one to hold video phone calls on-the-go. I'm surprised with the technology that we have at the moment, something like this has not been realized yet. I presume that battery issues could be the main stumbling block though, since a screen does sip a significant amount of juice, even more so when it needs to transmit data wirelessly from the main handset. I like the way different attachments can be added to the concept handset, allowing one to turn it into a widescreen display or a dual screen viewer.

Sonoro Audio Cubo now Out

Sonoro Audio's Cubo has finally arrived on US shores, after Europeans and Canadians have enjoyed it for some time now. The Cubo is but an AM/FM clock radio complete with a CD player, but I think this might be a case of a little too late. After all, how many people still have their CD collection in the bedroom? Thankfully there is MP3 playback capability, so perhaps the only kind of music you'll enjoying are those with a lower bitrate compared to CD-quality audio. Good thing it comes in a great looking package which might actually persuade some to part with $349.99 for it.
