Want to groove to the Windows Phone 7 momentum, but do not know just which handset to get with the plethora of models out there? The HTC 7 Mozart might be right up your alley though, and we have just received news that there is a leak for an official ROM upgrade which includes WP7 build 7355-89, and those who have already downloaded it have reported success with the installation process on their Mozarts. Apparently, it will be a clean installation, removing any carrier-specific branding which might have been there prior. Of course, the largest component of NoDo would be the inclusion of the long awaited copy-and-paste functionality – making us wonder why that wasn’t included right from the beginning. You given it a go yet?

The tablet market is definitely a competitive one to say the least, what with the iPad 2 having been announced and ready to trounce the rest of the competition. Well, HTC is no slouch when it comes to mobile devices either, and the company is looking to take off with a tablet of their own aptly known as the Flyer. Chinese news outlet Commercial Times has touted the HTC Flyer to have a price tag of around $600 thereabouts, making it more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Tab albeit being pricier than the entry level iPad 2 that is ready to set sales figures alight later this week. Of course, so far one million units have already been ordered, which is a good sign by any means in our book. As to whether it is able to impress in real life as it does on paper, that remains to be seen so keep your fingers crossed.

Sweden, the land that brought you the safest cars around as well as flat packed furniture, might soon pave the way for the future of postal service – the country’s postal service is mulling over the possibility of letting customers pay for postage using text messages instead of old school stamps. This messaging system will respond with a coded number, where it can be written on a letter as proof of postage payment. Of course, nothing is set in concrete just yet since officials will have to sit around the table and debate the plans as well as set a date for its deployment, although chances are pretty high you will still be using stamps to send your snail mail until the summer. Neighbors Denmark are slightly ahead of the game already, as they will be rolling out a similar service from April 2011 onwards.

Folks in the US, it is time to rejoice as Nokia has finally put up their E7 smartphone for pre-order, although other people living in different parts of the world already started to receive shipments more than a month ago. This handset which was first announced in September last year, has seen its release date delayed by at least a couple of times, but thank goodness the “pass the buck” movement has finally stopped, where it will arrive Stateside in approximately one month’s time. We do know that Windows Phone 7 is going to be a mainstay on Nokia smartphones in the future, but that doesn’t mean their Symbian offerings do not lack a punch, since the E7 does feature a ClearBlack Display which combines an AMOLED screen with a polarized filter for enhanced contrast, as well as 3G HSDPA speed support on both T-Mobile and AT&T.

According to some reports online, if you look hard enough in the “grey market” in China, you can actually find some 64GB iPhone 4 devices available for sale. These phones are rumored to be iPhone 4 prototypes that got the axe (as evident by the lack of 64GB models available now) and come marked with prototype model numbers like XXXXX and FCC IDs like BCG-XXXXXX. These phones even carry the XXGB marking, similar to the infamous iPhone 4 that Gizmodo managed to pick up at a bar last year, giving more credibility to rumors about the device. It has also been reported that the device is unlocked, so you’ll be able to use it on any carrier. It hasn’t been mentioned how much the phones cost, but if you do manage to get your hands on any of them, do drop us a comment. I wonder why Apple decided not to include 64GB in their final iPhone lineup. Chances are they did it to keep the cost of the iPhone 4 the same as the previous generation models. What do you think?
