Do you remember the unofficial Google Multilingual Voice Search that was launched quite a while ago? Well, the folks behind it have expanded the service into additional territory: Twitter. Functioning in the same way as the Google Multilingual Voice Search, the Twitter Multilingual Voice Search lets users search Twitter using their voice, making use of different languages.
All you have to do is select the Speech-to-Text Language, click on the microphone and then speak in the language which you selected. Instead of giving you Google search results, you’ll be treated with the search results of Twitter feeds instead. At the moment 51 Speech-to-Text languages are supported, including Afrikaans, Chinese, Taiwan Chinese, Dutch, English, American English, French, Italian, Russian, Zulu and more.

If you always thought that iPad and Android tablets were only good for casual gaming and not blockbuster titles, OnLive is here to prove you wrong. OnLive has just unveiled its new app for the iPad and Android tablets that is touted to outperform the latest consoles when it comes to gaming.
The app, paired up with OnLive’s Universal Wireless Controller, allows users to play pretty every game available on the service to be played on the tablet. If the feature is available on the tablet, it can even be output to an HDTV, turning the tablet into the console while gamers get to play on their huge screens. Since the performance of OnLive’s gaming service isn’t dependent on the specs of your hardware, as long as you have a good internet connection, you’ll be able to enjoy any game you want.
The OnLive Player for iPad and Android is being showcased at E3 this week, and will be available on the devices later this year. You can also head over to the official OnLive website to watch a video demonstration.

Mozilla has just announced a new project called Webian Shell 0.1. While at first glance a lot of people might think “a Chrome OS competitor!” it’s not at the same level yet (at least for now). Webian Shell is exactly what its name says: a shell that runs over your current operating system, giving it a brand new, simple and easy to use interface and the ability to run web apps.
It’s basically designed for users who want an operating system where they can work completely inside the browser without having to use the features of the desktop. And that’s how Webian Shell functions like ? pretty much a full-screen web browser with its own UI. Hit the break for a video demonstration of find out more a the official Webian website.

The folks over at Phandroid recently got their hands on an email that is supposedly a reminder from Verizon, letting XOOM customers know that the promised 4G LTE update to the tablet is on its way. Here’s what the email said:
Thank you for submitting your Motorola Xoom for the 4G LTE upgrade. You should have recently received a package in the mail with instructions and materials for returning your device for the upgrade.
Our records indicate that we have not yet received your Motorola Xoom. If you are still interested in upgrading your Motorola Xoom, this is a friendly reminder to please follow the instructions provided in your upgrade package and ship your device back for the upgrade.
If you have already shipped your device back to us, please contact us at 1-800-734-5870 and one of our support specialists will assist you with tracking and completing your order.
But judging from how nobody else seems to have received the email, it’s impossible to verify whether it really is an official email that Verizon has been sending out. But if it turns out to be true, then it looks like XOOM users won’t have to wait too long to get their tablet’s data speeds upgraded. How many of you are interested in sending in your XOOM tablet to get the 4G upgrade?
