Spousal abuse might be something that is left covered up due to stigma, but it should not be tolerated. Enter the efforts of doctoral students at MIT who are developing clothing that comes packed with sensors which can record physical abuse discreetly. This could potentially see your future blouse provide evidence against violent perpetrators in the court. Right off the bat, we're thinking that Tiger Woods could surely make do with one of these (of course his will come with a Nike logo emblazoned across) so that his wife might think twice before letting loose his clubs on him.

Your iPhone isn't just a communications tool - it can also be used, in this instance, to control a solar-powered Arduino tank remotely. This Arduino tank is the result of Chris Rojas' work, where he used the iPhone TouchOSC app, a variety of parts from SparkFun including XBee modules and robot kits, and the Arduino open-source electronics prototyping platform. It would be nice to see more functionality added to such an invention so that you can then really scare the fur out of those pesky neighborhood cats.

BMW turned into gaming rig

What used to be a racing beast, the BMW M3 E30 has now taken a totally different role as it has been converted to be the ultimate gaming machine. The M3 is now a gaming rig which ought to boast one of the more comfortable leather seats, where playing driving games on this should be a real pleasure. No idea on whether the setup will remain inadvertently, or will it be reversed into a drivable model sometime down the road.

Love watching movies? You basically have two choices - the cinema, or right smack in the comfort of your own home. Robot creator Rodger Cleye came up with a robot which will bring movies to you instead, dubbing it the Movie Mover. What makes the Movie Mover special? Well, it comes with a digital projector, speaker system and a 60” screen that has been mounted onto a remote controlled robot. A single batery will power the digital projector, speakers and portable DVD player, while a secondary battery makes sure the robot has enough juice to run around. We do wonder what the battery life of this thing is like though considering the energy requirements of all its components.
