T3 takes a look at Archos 604

T3 takes a look at Archos 604
T3 has gone one up on just about everyone else by snagging an Archos 604 portable media player. The 604 will replace the ageing AV500, packing in more features than its predecessor and yet appearing in a much slimmer dimension, thanks to the wonders of miniaturization and engineering. The user interface has been tweaked while a new control layout makes it much easier to go through your media. Although the screen's specifications are the same as the AV500, it somehow looks sharper and more glossy. A kickstand located behind is great whenever you want to catch a movie while seated at your desk without worrying about getting cramps in your hands. There is no word on pricing and availability at the moment.
