Swarovski In-spiral Bracelet Watch

Swarovski In-spiral Bracelet Watch

Swarovski crystals seem to be all over the place these days, finding their way around everyday items for some much needed bling factor. This concept design by Peter Zsolt Koren features an in-spiral bangle bracelet/watch that would be at home whether on the table or on a wrist. It comes with a unique rail system design that can be adjusted and locked magnetically. Would be nice to see it come in colors other than ruby red though.

iZap Toothbrush Sanitizer

iZap Toothbrush Sanitizer

Frequent travelers often have to put up with hotels of dubious nature if the company they're working with ain't too big on generosity. Roaches are the bane of cheap motels, so why not keep something as intimate as a toothbrush safe from such vermin with the iZap toothbrush sanitizer? This unique device helps keep your toothbrush free from germs and bacteria, and I suppose it would then be OK to share toothbrushes with a forgetful room mate. It will take half a dozen minutes to kill all the germs inside, and the UV bulb will turn itself off automatically after that. Powered by a couple of AAA batteries, the iZap case will retail for $19.95 and comes with a free toothbrush (and germs).

Samsung GT-B2700 Rugged Phone

Samsung GT-B2700 Rugged Phone

Samsung doesn't only make pretty cell phones, they're starting to be more flexible with the GT-B2700 as an example. This is a water- and dust-resistant phone which is able to stand up against the rigors of a butterfingers owner. It won't be a high end handset though, as you only get the following :-

It will hit the markets as summer comes to a close, retailing for $330.

Tranquil Sounds Oxygen Bar

Tranquil Sounds Oxygen Bar

Over the long weekend, surely some people have had way too much partying going on, which is why something like the Tranquil Sounds Oxygen Bar would be perfect to rejuvenate. It will not only pump pure oxygen into your body to help you loosen up and relax, it also features a quartet of soothing song selections to help you recover. After all, you're no longer 18 despite partying like one, so your down time would be longer. I suppose Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal would be happy with this after their marathon match. Heck, for those who love aromatherapy, you can always include some essential oils to get an even more soothing experience. The Tranquil Sounds Oxygen Bar will retail for $299.95 a pop. I would've liked to see users being able to choose their own songs though.

LG Triple View LCD Display

LG Triple View LCD Display

Dual view displays are old hat by now, but LG ups the ante by offering a Triple View LCD panel. This 47" prototype offers up to three different images simultaneously, depending on where you're looking from, making this the ideal display for advertising and engaging multiple consumers simultaneously. This LCD panel is able to hit full High Definition resolution (1,920 x 1,080), but it remains to be seen just how much it will cost when it is being mass manufactured.

Pasen iTouch Clone

Pasen iTouch Clone

Pasen has a new touch-screen based portable media player that resembles the iPod touch, and it boasts a JZ4732 chipset inside which enables the player to support unconverted 30fps videos. Some of the features include :-

Strangely enough, other than the rather paltry internal memory, the $79.99 price tag is rather tempting. At least the memory card slot (unspecified) is able to hold up to 32GB of data, so I suspect it is SDHC at work here.

Handsome Man Bank

Handsome Man Bank

What happens when there aren't any more good men around? Well, money can't buy you happiness, but at least Japan's women will be able to find some 'romance' in the arms of a virtual man thanks to the “Handsome Man Bank”. Available in either pink or white colors, it comes with an LCD display that allows you to choose from 5 handsome men in typical Japanese anime style. It will cost you 500 yen - which roughly translates to $5, to cause him to spew out lovey-dovey questions such as “Can I kiss you?” or “May I rub your shoulders?” Unfortunately, all those words won't be able to translate into action, so if there are any hot and lonely single Japanese women who want the real thing, do leave your number in the comments section. I jest :) The Handsome Man Bank will cost nearly $50, making it a pretty interesting gift to own.

iRobot Files Patent for Lawn Mowing Bot

iRobot Files Patent for Lawn Mowing Bot

iRobot isn't going to stop at just intelligent vacuuming robots for the home, as they have also filed a patent for a lawn-mowing robot. I will leave the naming convention to our dear imaginative readers, but in the 84-page filing, there is a variety of configurations to choose from, including an all-electric model and a gas-electric hybrid. Why not solar-powered model to join the fray? After all, the lawn is located under the sun, right? There are acoustic and optical sensors in the patent filing that claims to allow the robot to "avoid hard surfaces, water and other barriers" while going about cutting grass. I wonder what the resident house dog has to say about this robotic contraption making a mess of its turf.
