Snell ICS 1030 Bookshelf Speaker

Snell ICS 1030 Bookshelf Speaker

The Snell ICS 1030 Bookshelf Speaker is definitely not something you cross paths with every day. Most people who have enough space (and money to purchase all those books mind you) to start a library in their home ought to be well heeled enough to pick up this $2,000 Bookshelf Speaker that oozes with a quiet elegance. Unsuspecting guests and visitors will definitely be taken aback as they start to wonder where the music is coming from, until you grin and let them know that the speaker has actually been painted over by the talented folk at Snell. I suppose this bookshelf speaker only works its illusionary magic during a certain period of the day as the painting is definitely not dynamic enough to match the lighting ambience around at all times.

Mozilla chicks can network socially

chicken_scream.jpgThe latest innovation from Mozilla Labs, The Coop, aims to integrate Web 2.0 into Firefox. Gaze at your friends / lovers / minions lined up along a sidebar and quickly share pics, videos, links and blog updates. In return they can bombard you with all manner of goodness (I use this word lightly) over the biggest commune on the planet.

YouTube videos, Flickr galleries, MySpace posts and LJ entries will all be accessible at the click of a thumbnail photo in a radical addition to the world's favourite alternative browser.

Still in production, you can read all about the aims and design and contribute your commentary in the discussion pages.
