Overclocking the NVIDIA GeForce Video Card

Overclocking can take on many forms, and experiments can range from minor product improvements to a total re-engineering project that completely alters the hardware. Because of their long history of successful product launches, NVIDIA is the most recognized name in the graphics industry. Their GeForce series of desktop graphics accelerators has become an enthusiast favorite, primarily because of excellent overclocking potential. For gamers, overclocking unlocks a hidden potential to change the graphics quality settings from medium to high without a hardware upgrade. The results are often times worth the risk, and in this article Benchmark Reviews will focus on achieving the most gain possible from any NVIDIA GeForce video card through overclocking, while using the least amount of effort.

Enermax Aurora and Ceasar Scissor-switch
Keyboards

Keyboards are a very personal piece of pheriferal hardware, and the one-size-fits-all approach rarely satisifies everyone involved. As a professional writer, I find myself to be quite picky about the computer components I use on a regular basis. I believe myself to be the poster-child for adaptabiltiy, but it's no picnic when I give up my favorite mouse of keyboard for a new design. In this article, Benchmark Reviews tests three new keyboards from the Enermax Aurora Premium, Micro, and Ceasar product lines. These keyboards all feature scissor-key compression mechanisms identical to most premium notebook computer keypads, and integrate High Speed USB 2.0 ports for added functionality.

It's Friday - shoot sheep and test your reaction
skills

Sheep_game.JPG

I don't know what I entered into the world wide web, or whether it was a sign to stop working for 5 minutes, but somehow I came across this addictive little game. As far as games go, this is very *very* basic, but it's a load of fun and you get to shoot sheep with tranquilizers (coz counting them is so last year) while testing how fast your reactions are. Hey, we're so close to the weekend we're all entitled to a bit of larking about. It's simple. When a sheep tries to make a dash for it, click on the tranquilizer and the sheep will go back to sleep. Eager beavers will be given a 3 second penalty. Check it out after the jump

Samsung seeks to buy Sandisk, would become
Flashzilla

Samsung seeks to buy Sandisk, would become Flashzilla

MarketWatch is reporting that Samsung is seeking to acquire Sandisk, the maker of flash memory and multimedia players. That might be a good time: Sandisk lost 50% of its market capitalization since June 2008. Samsung is already a flash memory giant and with Sandisk, it would acquire a great brand, an awesome patents portfolio, additional revenues... and instantly become "Flashzilla". At first view, it's not a bad deal, at depressed price.

Is Nintendo planning a DS 2

Nintendo_ds2.jpg
We love a good rumour. And today the internet is rife with a bit of gossip regarding Nintendo and a new DS model. It is thought the improved model will be landing sometime next year, which is yes, very ambiguous, but who cares it's been put out there. So now, as we all sit around twiddling our thumbs, waiting like petulant little children for an official announcement, all we can do is hold on to the hope that there is at least 99.9 percent truth in all this buzz.
