This issue hasn’t been verified by Apple just yet, but if it’s true, then iPhone owners out there will have to be careful when they’re using Safari on their iPhone, as you might end up with a rather huge (say a few thousand clams) data bill. Word is that there is a bug in Safari for the iPhone that will leave a Motion JPEG video stream open, even if you close the Safari app, causing the stream to continue to gobble up your precious data (and chalk up a rather hefty data bill). Fortunately Motion JPEG isn’t a commonly used web codec, but it’s often used by webcams, so you’ll need to be careful. Apparently the current workaround provided by the person who discovered the bug is to navigate to another page after you’re done, that will interrupt the stream. Have you experienced such a problem before? Drop us a comment and let us know your experience.

We doubt that anybody would be actively looking to buy such a keyboard, except maybe folks who love to roleplay as pirates on the Internet. That being said, you have to admit that this pirate keyboard is quite cute. Don’t miss the additional “Avast” key at the upper left corner!

Theoretically, the ADE 651 handheld detector ought to be a firm favorite with military types as this device supposedly sniffs out bombs, guns, drugs and human bodies within a one kilometer radius, but there is one huge problem - it does not seem to function as it should be. This could prove to be an embarrassment for the US government after purchasing 1,500 of such detectors that retail from $16,500 to $60,000 each, depending on the model and type.
