Cracked Paintjob Ferrari For $2 Million

Cracked Paintjob Ferrari For $2 Million

Giving to charity is always good, but you still have to be seriously rich to be able to pay $2 million for a unique Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. What makes this Ferrari special is that it has a paintjob done by leading Chinese artist, Lu Hao. The paintjob on the car is in a “cracked” glaze pattern, similar to the pieces of Ge Kiln porcelain. If that isn’t enough to convince you that it’s a good buy, maybe the jade encrusted “start” button on the steering wheel will. If you have 2 million clams to spare, would you buy this?

The Beatles: on an Apple-shaped USB stick - but
still not Spotify

199 the_beatles_remastered_catalogue_usb-300.jpg
You can't get the Beatles on Spotify but you can - just in time for Christmas - get the Beatles back catalogue on an apple-shaped USB stick. Apple Records, the label the Beatles set up, have packed 14 stereo albums, 13 mini-documentary films about the albums, album art and copies of rare photos on this novelty USB, based on the label's logo. It's not cheap though... it's a cool £200 for the USB stick. Cutely-shaped though it is, this memorabilia won't go down a bomb with the free music streaming generation but for hard core fans, perhaps with a bit more money to slosh around, this may well prove popular at Christmas. Though it's a far cry from vinyl, only 100 will be released (on 7th December) so the rarity of them might make them more desirable. Limited Edition Beatles Stereo USB Apple, £200 from digitalstores [via retrotogo]

Samsung Releases SCH-W920 In Korea

Samsung Releases SCH-W920 In Korea

Samsung has a bad habit of releasing some rather interesting phones in Korea first, and this time the company has released the Samsung SCH-W920 DMB phone, which sports Bluetooth, DMB TV support, dual-cameras, an English dictionary and also a siren SOS alarm. Antenna looks a tad ugly though.

Verizon Introduces $350 ETF

Verizon Introduces $350 ETF

Were you thinking of registering a second line with Verizon, get a brand new BlackBerry Tour or Storm 2 and then flog it off on eBay? Well, it looks like Verizon has caught on with the game, and introduced an ETF (Early Termination Fee) of $350 on “advanced devices”. The ETF will be reduced by $10 for each month of service completed, so it’s not all that draconian, but it will serve to deter folks from registering just to sell the phone. You have to admit, it’s surprising that they’ve taken this long to introduce an ETF, don’t you think?

Beatles Songs Sold On USB Drive

Beatles Songs Sold On USB Drive

If you’re looking for some additional Beatles stuff to add to your Beatles collection, you’ll certainly want to check out this apple-shared 16GB USB drive. What’s so special about it? Well, it’s loaded with legitimate copies of the 14 Beatles albums in less FLAC 44.1Khz 24-bit format, good enough to satisfy the most fussy audiophile. There’s also a pile of liner notes, album art, photos and mini-documentary films about each album. There are only 100 of the drives available, currently up for pre-order. That being said, you do have to wonder whether it’s worth paying £200 for a USB drive of songs, when you could probably buy all the original CDs for less, not to mention your kid might just decide to empty the drive to copy some movies he downloaded off the Internet.
