Remember the A380 that I visited at LAX a few months ago? Well, luckily for Airbus, they've received some orders despite being 2 years late on their promise, and one of those orders is a very special one from an unknown billionaire who is having his tricked out to the tune of $150 million. Oh yeah, that's in addition to the price tag of the plane itself ($325M).

I have been using LapWorks' laptop desk 2.0 since last January's MacWorld and now I find hard to separate it from my MacBook, especially in bed! The laptop desk has two "modes": desk and laptop. The video also shows the company's laptop "legs" accessory that I haven't tested.
On a desk
In desk mode, it folds in half and creates and incline with 5 different angles, where you'll put your computer on it and creates a better typing angle. The incline also reduces the heat building up on the computer.

Add to myYahoo!I was quite surprised when I read this article at Destructoid.com, letting us know that a specific Sony PlayStation 1 model (model SCPH-1001) has some kick ass audio output if you listen to standard audio CDs. Apparently you have to buy equipment for more than $6000 to get an equally sounding system. Crazy… I bet [...]

Dr. Robins is part of a team that develops robots which work with special needs children, helping the young ones interact better while attempting to overcome their learning ability. Initial studies and tests show that these robots were very well received despite being plain in looks, giving birth to the idea that a more elaborate doll complete with movement abilities could garner better results with children as the robots can then encourage imitation and turn-taking behavior during playful interactions. Will robots be used to teach humans manners and courtesy sometime down the road, or will they remain the domain of special needs children? Perhaps teens hooked onto l337 5p34k could make do with interaction on this level as well...

Choosing a GPS navigation system can be pretty tricky, especially when you travel across the Atlantic ocean frequently. Most GPS systems require you to purchase a disc or download the European mapset, but Jensen's new NVX230W comes pre-loaded with TeleAtlas' Western European maps as well as U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico maps. Sounds like a pretty convenient deal, as the NVX230W retails for $399.99 when it is released this month. For the exhaustive list of specifications and features, kindly check it out after the jump.
