The WM5torage utility exports the flash memory card inside Windows Mobile 5.0 (only) Smartphones and Pocket PCs to function as a usual USB drive, very much like the Palm-based Softick Card Export program. Unfortunately, it is USB 1.0 only. It works perfectly fine with the HTC Tornado, the i-mate SP5, and the O2 XDA Atom. The developer does not guarantee total compatibility with all Pocket PC-based smartphones though. Do ensure that WM5torage can only run on a fully application-unlocked Windows Mobile Smartphone. Its a wonder why Microsoft never included this function in WM5 in the first place...

It might be primitive in many ways, but who knows what the future holds? After all computers of yore were larger than a studio apartment a few decades ago, and look at where we are today.
