Cartel's CT-2000 Bluetooth-enabled handset for your vehicle is a permanently installed device that will be connected to your audio system, allowing you to route your cellphone calls to it so that you can concentrate on driving with both hands on the wheel. Sounds more like a permanent Bluetooth hands-free kit than anything else, and the design folks behind the CT-2000 must have just stepped out from a time machine in the 1980s.

Kingston and Paramount to release movies on SD cards

Kingston and Paramount have come to an understanding where Paramount will release movies on SDHC memory cards alongside USB flash drives from Kingston. Apart from that announcement, nothing else has been revealed concerning the movie format, although we do know that the movies will come in bundles as well as individual shows. How well do you think such a medium will fare? This will be an extremely niche market, we predict.

EVGA GTX 275 Co-op PhysX card

The EVGA GTX 275 Co-op PhysX card is very different from the rest as it will boast a GTX 275 that will hook up with a GTS 250 GPU on a single board, enabling the former to handle all graphics rendering while the latter does PhysX calculations. You will get a grand total of 1,280MB of memory between both GPUs for a total bandwidth of 179.8GB/sec. This looks like a sole release from EVGA with nothing similar to roll out in the future, and it will cost north of $300 when released.

Marvell and E Ink to offer enTourage eDGe

Marvell has teamed up with E Ink to bring the first dualbook in the industry, where the device is known as the enTourage eDGe. It will merge the functions of an E-Ink reader with a netbook, notepad and audio/video player and recorder into a single device, and with the ARMADA 166E application processor within, it will offer the enTourage eDGe all the relevant power required in order to meet simultaneous digital needs without breaking the bank. No idea on pricing for the enTourage eDGe though, but it does look like one hot ticket item should it be released at a reasonable price point in the near future. [Press Release]
