Zodttd is a developer familiar to those who enjoyed GBA4iPhone, and the same developer is now currently working on a N64 emulator for the iPhone 3GS, thanks to CPU, GPU and OpenGL ES 2.0 support that is good enough to churn out smooth N64 emulation. A word of caution before you get too excited though - high end N64 titles might not be available "just yet" due to the lack of power, while another issue for most folks to grapple with would be the upcoming control scheme.

Toyota is clearly in tune with the next generation of gamers by unveiling the Tacoma All-Terrain Gamer (ATG) concept that comprises of a Toyota pickup with a quartet of Xbox consoles within, a Warthog from Halo and a Monster energy drink dispenser to keep you going through those marathon gaming sessions. You will find four 24" LCD monitors from Samsung adorning the cabin center, swinging out to provide individual gamers with their own display. As for spectators, they can sit outside and view all the thrills and spills via a 60" Sharp LCD TV that is mounted in the Tacoma's trailer receiver hitch.

Have some spare time on your hands for a DIY project? The Secret Knock Detecting door lock might be your cup of tea, where it relies on an Arduino alongside a ragtag collection of parts from a lab. The end result is a device that unlocks your door whenever it "hears" the right knock pattern which only you are privy to (alongside other people who you've shared to answer with). Sorta like a big boys' secret handshake, albeit much cooler. Of course, this doesn’t counter who ever is eavesdropping on the pattern of your knock in order to gain access later on though. Any workarounds you can think of?

Sony's PSPgo has moved more than 28,000 units on its first day on sale in the Land of the Rising Sun, with brisk movement of retail and download titles Persona 3 Portable and Dissidia Final Fantasy Universal Tuning, coupled with download-only games Disgaea Infinite and LocoRoco Midnight Carnival. Is this a success? We'll let you judge for yourself - the PSP-3000 moved more than 140,000 units in October within a 4-day window, while the Nintendo DSi sold 170,000 in half that amount of time. Guess there is still love for UMD after all, eh?

The Windows 7 launch did manage to push up sales of PCs by a whopping 40%, although this figure could be partly offset by buyers who were holding out for a purchase during the previous fortnight, seeing sales plummet 29% and 2% compared to 2008. It remains to be seen whether this sales spike is a new trend that Microsoft would welcome, or is it just a temporary anomaly due to folks who were waiting particularly for Windows 7. We'd place our money on the latter, unless Windows 7 proved to be that revolutionary and pushes out huge sales figures just like the Nintendo Wii.

VIA has updated their line of Nano processors with new Nano 3000 chips that will boast a 64-bit architecture, differing in speeds ranging from 1GHz to 2GHz. Regardless of their clock speed, all of them can handle 1080p HD video playback with aplomb, and can outperform its predecessors by over 20% in PCMark 05 and 3Dmark 2006 benchmarks. These new processors will play nice with older VIA sockets, so if you're rocking to motherboards that can handle VIA C7, C7-M, Eden and earlier Nano processors, you won't have any problem with all half dozen models in the VIA Nano 3000 series. The MW600 will allow you to stream audio to your headset via sound-enhancing ear-buds, while the crystal clear OLED display coupled with easy access controls and RDS radio station information makes it a snap to glean important information at a glance.
