3M does not only make Post It notes for the uninformed, the company actually has many of its fingers dipped in other fields as well. Case in point, 3M 3D technology that is currently in use on LCD panels in order to deliver 3D imagery, boasting a film that consists of lenses on one side and prism structures on the other in order to reflect the corresponding imagery to our eyes, resulting in a 3D effect without the need to put on a pair of those dorky-looking glasses.

Folks at the FCC have delibrated over approving the Nokia X3, and suffice to say their delibrations has resulted in a positive response, which means we could very well be looking at the X3's release Stateside pretty soon although nothing's been confirmed just yet. This Symbian S40-powered handset will come with Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, an integrated stereo FM radio, stereo speakers, dedicated music keys, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 2.2" QVGA display, a 3.2-megapixel camera and a microSD memory card slot. For a ballpark figure of its price, our European counterparts can bring home the X3 for €115 ($169) unlocked.

Sony Ericsson's upcoming handset, the Kurara, is now back with a new photo op, where this Symbian S60 5th Edition powered handset will also follow in the footsteps of the Satio and Aino by being part of the group's Entertainment Unlimited line-up. Features that will adorn the Kurara include a 3.5" AMOLED touchscreen display, an 8.1-megapixel camera and the high probability of it being able to record in HD resolution. No word on pricing but it ought to hit the market sometime in the first half of next year under a different moniker.

Remember when Pierce Brosnan (yes, the one who can't sing to save his life in Mamma Mia!) was the debonair 007, controlling a BMW 750iL using his Sony Ericsson handset? Fiction is now reality with the iPhone-operated Dodge minivan known as The Spirit of Berlin. This achievement is made possible thanks to the efforts of researchers from the Freie Universität Berlin's Artificial Intelligence Group. Of all the vehicles available with four wheels, they had to choose a Dodge instead of something sleeker - is there something they know that we don't?

Are you a geek to the max? If so, then you might want to check just how much money you have left in your bank account in order to place an order for the auction of a Star Trek USS Galileo Shuttle simulator from a school in Utah. The entire thing comes with stations, networking, speakers and a main viewscreen to rock your socks off. With a $1,000 reserve price, it would be interesting to see who would gain the approval of the designated home minister to bring this back.

T-Mobile USA user would most probably be frustrated that the company's voice and data services are currently down from coast to coast. Apparently, they are scrambling all the available tech ninjas that they have in order to have the services up and running like normal. Time to change, perhaps?
