Police suggest that drivers should remove anything of value from the car when disembarking, and de-activate wireless connections when carrying a laptop everywhere is not possible. Hopefully anyone reading this piece will not utilize the devilish idea and begin a spree at their own locality. Read more about it here.

Taiwan’s Xcute S50 cellphone offers an impressive 6-megapixel camera in a slim 9mm girth. You might think that such a svelte figure would mean less room for functions, but don’t be mistaken. The tri-band S50 is able to dish out features like onboard flash memory, TV-out connectivity, a 16.7 million color screen, AVI, ASF, and MOV file format support, and T-flash expandability. Unfortunately, the S50 lacks a 3x optical zoom for close up pictures.

LG’s Tromm Steam Washer is the first of its kind in America. It uses a water heater to project the generated steam into a huge 4 cubic foot wash tub. Combination cycles provide both steam and water during the laundry process. The advantages of steam include a better cleaning method as steam is able to get deeper into cloth than water. This LG washer comes with a matching dryer and a wireless remote-laundering device. Expect to pay slightly more than $1,500 for the latest in home laundry technology.

The LP49-DTV indoor digital TV antenna from Spectrum allows you to receive free HDTV in your loving room. Just connect the antenna to the integrated digital TV with a RG cable and you’re good to go. You will require a separate set-up box or a receiver card with a RG cable if connecting to a PC or traditional digital TV though. The LP49-DTV is powerful enough to provide coverage for an entire area of T-DTV service and can be used anywhere where the UHF standard is supported.
