Iomania has just released the FKB104Z mechanical keyboard in Korea that features a metal plate within the keyboard in order to provide a more conducive typing experience. The rest of the keyboard is constructed from high quality plastic material that was designed to be shock- and scratch-resistant. You can hook up the Iomania FKB104Z to both PS/2 or USB ports, but who uses PS/2 these days? You can pick up the Iomania FKB104Z for the recommended retail price of approximately $64, but chances are it remains a Korea only product at the moment. I personally like keyboards that have a more tactile feel than those silent types, as there is just something satisfying about listening to clicks as your fingers dance all over.

Neonode has launched the N2 touchscreen cellphone just a few days after the iPhone left the warehouse. It will be made available to folks across the pond though, being distributed throughout the southeastern portion of Europe. What you can expect from the Neonode N2 includes a customized 2" Neno touchscreen interface, a 2 megapixel camera, support for MP3, WAV, and WMA formats, and a miniSD memory card slot. There is no word on pricing details at this moment, and we're not sure if it will head over towards North America despite the inclusion of a worldwide quad-band GSM radio.

Everyone knows that cellphones from Japan and Korea are truly cutting edge, and that statement is further strengthened by the addition of a Nano Projector to a cellphone from SK Telecom of Korea. This new handset will be available to consumers later this year, capable of displaying a 20" image onto a screen or wall. Guess smartphones that contain these will now be able to project their PowerPoint presentations without the need for a notebook. You'll also be able to share your favorite impromptu videos with friends and family alike, as long as there is a dark enough room available. Don't hope for brightness levels that are found in today's home cinema projectors yet - there is still a long road to go.

Add to myYahoo!Quickie post here, but I did a full system recovery this past weekend, and now appear to have a working computer.
